My Month Of Development ! Act17 :28

We want to do feats with the Lord, but most of us are not ready to submit and obey God’s will.
We want to access some kind of blessing, but we don’t always measure the sacrifices that come with some smiles.
There are times when what God asks us to do tears us apart, but it is he who is sovereign, he knows what we need.
Many of us want to stay comfortable and secure and refuse to move to go into deep water.
We want God to manage according to our state of mind and our moods, we want God to align with what pleases us and what appeals to us.
Let us know this morning that the more we walk with the Lord, the more mature we become, the more we desire to go to the high places, the more what God asks of us hurts us.
We cannot stay comfortable and wait on God, we have a price to pay, a character to leave, a decision to make.
Abraham was a servant of God who was very comfortable with his father.
He was well surrounded, he had goods, he had no reason to relocate.
All his life he had been in this country, in this city, in this neighborhood.
People had seen him grow up and become a man.
And one day, everything changes in his life.
He receives a visit from the God he serves who drives him out of his father’s house, who asks him to leave the land of all its history, to abandon his heritage and to put an end to all these memories and to leave.
Welcome the ambarrassments, the questions, the doubts, the confusion.
His brothers surely asked him where he was going and how he could take all this risk because of a voice he had heard and of which he was not sure.
Surely the mockery and protests have arisen.
Was it easy for him?
Certainly not.
Abraham himself only had one promise, he obeyed by relying on a promise.
To follow God friends, you have to have the heart.
We can clearly understand the verse that says in Matthew that if we are to follow God, we must first die, renounce ourselves, our interests, our intelligence, our abilities, our beauty.
Abraham, where are you even going?
Do you know where outside your village?
Are you mad, child of God?
Here are your things of the hallelujahs again.
And if the voice there doesn’t show you a country, what will become of you, Abraham?
Go alone, see and find out before you come to take your family and your possessions.
Here we are in our elements, the advice …
Abraham did not hesitate, he knew that the God he adores is faithful and he rushed without thinking, he knew that his God could not abandon him and he bet everything on his faith, he obeyed the Lord .
And U.S ?
Are we ready to leave everything and leave everything to do God’s will?
How many have tried and given up to go back to where the Lord took them?
How many have yielded to influences and manipulation?
Many have seen their destinies stop because they have been intimidated.
It is a decision that falls to us personally, are we ready to settle where the Lord wants?
We will certainly all say yes.
But that’s God’s message for this day.
Be ready to establish where the Lord wants you.
Genesis 12: 1 – The LORD said to Abram, Depart out of thy land, and out of thy land, and out of thy father’s house, into the land which I will show thee.
Don’t think that we leave our fathers house to do what we want?
We leave to serve and depend on the Lord, we obey because we have understood that Only God is able to establish us.
And we are waiting for the guidance and the will of God alone because he has control over everything.
We have to be malleable in the hands of the Lord, there is a type of breakthrough that we cannot have if we are still built on the foundation of our parents.
This is why the father sometimes needs to separate us to deal privately with us.
Hello parents
Have a good day
