My Month Of Sharing ! He13:16

If before today we were lax, selfish, individualistic, it is time to take an interest in all that is happening around us.
We are Christians, we are more than winners, we have been given authority, but next to us we have those who are voiceless, who are vulnerable, weak.
It is up to us to be attentive and balanced, it is up to us to be the protectors of the weak who are afraid to plead their case.
Let us do good to those in need, not minimise them, not reject them, just be obedient to God’s word and be generous.
Jeremiah, 22:16 – He judged the cause of the poor and needy, and was pleased. Doesn`t this know me? says the Lord.
Grow in the knowledge of God by doing good.
The Lord never abandons his children, he is always there to defend and love them.
Even when we are dependent on the Lord, the Lord proclaims himself King of kings in our lives,
even when we are helpless, the father defends us,
even when we are stripped of our pride, the Lord gives us stability and love.
Through Jeremiah, God condemns Jehoiakim for his selfishness, yet his father had shown kindness and generosity to the workers and the poor.
He had defended their cause before the judges.
The Lord wants to draw our attention to the consideration we have for those who are needy.
So may the Lord remove all individualism from us.
