My Month Of Peace ! Jn14:27

The Lord made us different,
we don’t always see things the same way,
we don’t always think the same way.
It is therefore normal to have different opinions and we must defend them against opposition.
But we must also know how to state our positions without getting angry, bitter or contemptuous.
Many of us do not know how to manage our emotions when faced with a disagreement,
We get carried away,
We get carried away, we get upset.
The Bible mentions that there was a dispute between Lot’s servants and Abraham’s servants because of their overflowing flocks.
Also, the shepherds of Gerar and the shepherds of Isaac quarrelled over the well dug in the valley by the servants of Isaac.
Esau became very angry because his brother Jacob had taken his birthright.
Somehow there was a dispute but we should also note that Abraham decided to part with his nephew Lot,
Isaac went to dig another well elsewhere and Jacob fled the wrath of his brother who promised him death.
Each of them in their own way tried to find solutions to avoid disputes.
Many times we have been abusive to others because we wanted to be honest with them,
We have said things without thinking, without filtering just because we told ourselves that we are not hypocrites.
Yes, but have we thought about our fellow man?
Do we realise that we have hurt our brother?
And in this impulse, we are not peaceful, reconciling people,
full of gentleness with people.
It is up to us to seek peace and refrain from quarrels.
And this is what the Lord is recommending to us today.
Proverbs, 20:3 – It is a glory for a man to abstain from strife, But every foolish man indulges in his own way.
Avoid arguments!
Only the Holy Spirit can give us the strength to control ourselves so that we can react correctly in a quarrel.
Arguments poison us, my friends.
They destroy us and make us slaves.
Glory is the beauty of the spirit, it does us good when we do not fall into the desires of the flesh,
It lifts us up when we are of those who value tranquility.
It distinguishes us from the fools of the world who indulge in mixing and lightness.
In any case, let us flee from disputes.
The grace of God does not flood where there is no love and peace.
Good morning to all
Good day to you
