My Month Of Stability! Ps62:2

Lord, this morning we give you all the glory.
We thank you for everything you do,
We celebrate the life you are.
We want to dance in your honour,
We want to lift up your grace,
We want to say that your faithfulness is great.
This is our last Sunday of the month of stability,
It’s our last Sunday in the month of new beginnings,
For a long time, we have looked on anxiously,
For a long time, we trusted our strategies and our experiences,
For a long time, we thought that coming to church was knowing you, but Lord, you made us understand that we must aspire to spiritual things, we must be disciples.
We thought that having a good job would guarantee us fulfilment,
We thought that marriage was an insurance policy for heaven,
We thought that having a family gave us a pledge for the kingdom, but today we have realised that we are running towards seduction,
towards everything that has nothing to do with spirituality.
We have met you, Father.
We have become attached to you and we have understood that you are the only true path to glorious glory.
Knowing you has brought us out of ignorance,
Drawing closer to you fills us with wisdom.
We bless and exalt you, Papa.
Receive all the honour.
We have fallen,
We hurt,
We have wept,
But you sustained us, you came to our rescue and we acknowledge that you are our all in all.
Psalms, 57:7 – They spread a net under my feet; my soul was bowed down; they dug a pit before me; they fell into it. -Pause.
Celebrate the Lord who brings you stability.
No matter what the enemies have done against us,
No matter what satanic decrees they unleashed,
No matter what traps and altars they have built, the Lord is our rock,
We are hidden under his wings,
It is he who keeps us standing,
He strengthens us.
Let us trust in the God we serve.
He is faithful.
