My Month Of Stability! Ps62:2

Our greatest desire is to bear witness to God’s love on a daily basis.
We are so blessed to still be with us.
Our words are so weak to express the depth of our gratitude for God’s love.
The more we imitate the Lord, the more the natural man in us disappears to make room for the heart of Christ.
Paul brought the Thessalonians to the Lord Jesus, taught them and became their shepherd.
Now he counsels them, exhorts them, comforts them and of course prays for them.
In return, he wants his brothers in Christ to pray for him.
God’s work is a team effort.
We need to know that God is faithful,
we must count on his support and benefit from his help to deal with difficult situations.
That’s what the Thessalonians did,
they were attached to God and obeyed the commands of God’s word.
We have to let the Lord clear the way to our hearts.
It is by dwelling in God’s presence that we will become aware of his love and become more attached to him.
So Paul urges us to let God’s love settle within us.
It is the Holy Spirit alone who produces love and communicates it to believers.
Paul also wants God to remove all obstacles so that the Thessalonians will have more patience to endure trials, especially the persecutions they face.
This explains this morning’s instruction: pray that your heart will always be full of divine love and patience.
2 Thessalonians 3:5 – May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and the patience of Christ!
Good morning to you all
Good Morning
