My Month Of Gratitude! 1Thes5:18

One thing we need to work hard at as we enter the New Year is gratitude.
We must all learn to honour God’s people and respect their sacrifices.
Many of us are in ministry, but we will entrust ourselves to other servants and not to the one who feeds us.
It is there that we give all thanks,
that’s where we think we’re safe.
We have parents, but it’s other people’s parents we envy,
We have leaders who can help us in our Christian walk but we prefer another grace.
Many of us neglect the anointing under which we find ourselves but we choose not to leave so as not to be judged and criticised.
When our pastors pray for us or give us instruction, we don’t trust their words.
When it comes from elsewhere, we have the confidence and we are the first to complain.
Beloved, the oil we do not value cannot bless us,
The vessel we do not raise cannot make us prosper.
That’s why the Lord wants us to understand one thing, “gratitude.
Things won’t be said the way we want them to be, but God, who is faithful, orchestrates the blessing.
The Bible tells us that Naaman,
a valiant man,
leader of the Syrian army, was afflicted with leprosy.
When he went to Elysium for prayer, he went with his position.
For him, he had to take priority,
For him, the prophet had to roll out the red carpet for a personality like him.
Instead, the servant sent to give Naaman an instruction without receiving it.
Naaman, like us, began to get angry,
to murmur,
to criticise,
and in his pride, he decided to return to Syria simply because he had been ordered to wash seven times in the Jordan.
It was his servant who put him back in order and when the blessing took place,
the story tells us that Naaman returned to Elysium to be grateful and to promise to serve the Lord of hosts from now on.
How many of us return to honour grace?
How many of us take the time to come back and say thank you?
How many of us know that thanksgiving cements our destinies.
So when we need to pray for our pastors, let us not hesitate.
When we need to intercede for them, let’s take the time.
Let us love them,
Support them,
Encourage them,
Value them.
It is their grace that protects us,
it is their strength that keeps us.
Today’s advice: pray for your Pastors.
Romans, 1:18 – The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who unjustly hold the truth captive,
The responsibility of God’s people is great,
They are responsible for spreading the good news without diluting it,
they must deal with all kinds of people without failing to tell them about God,
Under no circumstances must they distort the word of God, because the Lord is watching over them, so it’s up to us to implore God’s grace on a daily basis for them, so that they don’t compromise themselves,
so that they don’t lose sight of the vision.
Lord, thank you for our pastors.
Without them by our side, many of us will have given up.
Help us to help them so that your light may shine on all your servants.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
