My Month Of Gratitude! 1Thes5:18

Being grateful to the Lord is not just a matter of the end of the year.
Just because our eyes have seen what our ears have heard doesn’t mean we shouldn’t continue to celebrate the Father.
Giving thanks to God is not something to be planned in an agenda,
it’s not when everything gets better,
it’s not when wonders are obvious, nor is it when it suits us.
Gratitude is a lifestyle,
it’s an attitude,
it’s a behaviour, it’s a character,
it’s an identity.
When we know that God’s presence is manifest in our lives,
we must give thanks.
When the Egyptians we see behind us today will never be seen again, that is a moment of thanksgiving.
When the Lord worked an instant miracle after twelve years of despair,
discouragement,
rejection,
bitterness.
Do we lack reasons why we should have a heart of gratitude, there are so many.
The Bible says that it neither slumbers nor sleeps, why?
Because it watches over us and protects us.
Who can be such effective and faithful guardians in our lives, even our mothers will eventually fall asleep.
So, if we are wise
let’s learn how to say thank you to the Lord for his love and mercy.
We have to do it all the time, we have to put God first every day.
Here is our last instruction for 2023 from the last book of the Bible: pray that gratitude to the Lord will be continual in your life.
Revelation, 4:9 – When the living creatures give glory and honour and thanks to him who sits on the throne, to him who lives for ever and ever,
We as children of God give thanks to the Lord for all the good things we do every day.
Let us bless the name of the Lord.
Good morning to us
Good day to you
