My Month Of Promotion! 1Sam2:8

There are so many things we do to get top jobs in our workplaces.
When appointments are being made or when there is a position to be filled,
many of us get up to shenanigans, and sometimes we even find shortcuts to get positions.
We are confronted with the war for power because we want to reign, we aspire to high office to please, to influence…
We fight to be recognised,
We spend so much energy trying to get people to like us and trust us.
We want to prove to everyone that we are capable of being leaders and that we were born with the baton of command.
The Bible tells us about Korah’s revolt.
Korah was a Levite,
He was a cousin of Moses and already had a position of responsibility in the Tabernacle.
He was in charge of the utensils and the transport of the Tabernacle.
At one point in his life, he was no longer satisfied with his position,
he wanted more space, more authority.
So he managed to convince the sons of Reuben and 250 leading figures in Israel.
As far as they were concerned, God was with them and he was claiming Moses’ place.
Moses did not have the right to take decisions alone, yet they are all holy,
they are all the same,
they have the same grace,
they all have the same anointing.
Why do we have to follow Moses alone?
To rise up against Moses was to challenge God, because it wasn’t Moses who had chosen to be the leader of the people of Israel, it was God.
Korah, you’re no match for Moses,
he performed miracles and wonders and what did you do?
He spoke to God face to face and you?
When he received the instructions to leave Egypt, were you there?
How can you say you’re the same?
It’s not about degrees or relationships or wealth,
it’s about choosing God,
it’s about privilege, it’s about being called…
So let’s be careful about thinking that we can get what we want any old way.
Many destinies have been diverted because they did not know how to turn to the Lord,
they wanted to use carnal methods to resolve spiritual matters,
they didn’t understand that you can’t attack everyone.
When God’s hand is on us, promotion follows.
Yaweh is the only one who opens and closes the doors of glory.
Let’s stop inventing strategies to get the ephemeral.
In any case, that’s what the Lord wants to tell us every day.
Psalms, 75:7 – For it is not from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert, that elevation comes.
Promotion comes from the Lord alone, it depends on him alone!
It does us no good to seek elevation other than from God.
Otherwise, we will be disappointed.
From his throne, he controls everything, and he inclines the hearts of kings where he wills.
So, we are invited to invite God into our projects, because their success is based on his will.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
