My Month Of Promotion! 1Sam2:8

Who was Isai in Israel before David confronted Goliath and killed him?
Isai was a common shepherd with no history, no reputation,
no name.
For his house to know royalty,
Samuel had to anoint David and the psalmist had to showcase his gifts and talents for all to see.
The Bible tells us that David already knew how to play the harp and that opened the doors of the palace to him. It was after David’s victory that Saul began to take a greater interest in David’s family.
Joseph also gave his family access to wealth in a foreign land.
He also asserted God’s trust in him,
he explained Pharaoh’s dream and he was raised up.
The famine that struck down others in Egypt did not happen to Joseph’s brothers.
All this to tell us that our blessing is not for ourselves, but for others.
What God decides to give us
is for the benefit of others.
The potential that Yaweh has given us
is so that we in turn can be a source of blessing for others.
As long as we don’t understand that the blessing we have is above all for our own, we won’t exploit the full energy of what we have.
All we need to do is to be in our place at the right time for us to unfold.
Joseph arrived in Egypt as a slave, but the Bible specifies that the Lord was with him, prosperity accompanied him and he lived in his master’s house.
At one point, his master noticed that Joseph was different,
that he exuded an aura,
that he carried a certain grace,
that he inspired a special anointing,
So Joseph found favour in the eyes of his master, who employed him in his service, established him over his house and entrusted him with everything he owned.
Why was this?
The master realised that he was also benefiting from his slave’s energy.
Immediately after establishing him over his house
the progress was visible, the change was visible, hence today’s verse.
Genesis, 39:5 – And it came to pass, when Potiphar had set him over his house, and over all that he had, that the Lord blessed the house of the Egyptian for Joseph’s sake: and the blessing of the Lord was on all that he had, whether in the house or in the field.
Pray that your promotion will bring abundant blessings to yours.
What we have as strength and glory, others around us must benefit from.
That’s how we witness to the spirit of God within us.
It is because we are examples that we can draw others to the light and proclaim the gospel.
So let’s put ourselves at the service of others so that the fullness of God’s spirit in us propels us into the ranks of the overcomers.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
