My Month Of Peace ! Jn14:27

Correction is a rectification, a modification, an arrangement, an improvement, a retouching.
Correction can also be a punishment, a beating…
In both cases, it helps us to progress, to become better, but there are many of us who hate this action.
Why do we hate it?
Man is naturally proud, he likes to be appreciated, honoured…
Reproaches, criticism, reprimand are not our cup of tea.
We don’t like to be taken back, it hurts us,
it diminishes us,
it demeans us.
But what will the world become without correction?
It’s true that correction is no fun, but that’s what makes it effective.
Correction is for the privileged, for children, for those we love.
Instead of spending our time justifying ourselves, let us acknowledge our faults and be more attentive when we receive instructions.
To correct us is to educate, to show us love.
Father, for a long time we have despised you, our pride has played tricks on us and we have rebelled against your ways.
Have mercy on us and do not leave us to ourselves.
Hebrews, 12:11 – It is true that all chastisement seems at first to be a cause for sorrow, and not for joy; but it produces later on for those who have been so exercised a peaceful fruit of righteousness.
Pray not to reject correction.
The result of the chastisement is for later, we cannot approve the rebuke at once.
It is in the future, in the face of trials, in the face of shocks, that we will remember the strength that correction has created in us.
Correction bears fruit; it gives us peace and security.
It keeps us humble and gives us joy.
So there is no need to feel small in the face of a rebuke, it just prepares us for the greatness of tomorrow.
Good morning to all
Good day to you
