My Month of Wisdom ! Pr3:13

We are still held by the flesh and that is the truth.
The anger spikes that sometimes control us and in retrospect we wonder if it was really necessary.
As soon as someone gets in our way, we are immediately hurt.
As soon as someone says something mean about us, we are broken.
As soon as our ego is not satisfied, what follows is bitterness.
As soon as someone says something that hurts our pride, discontent sets in.
As soon as our child has done something clumsy, another opportunity to raise our voice.
As soon as our neighbour disagrees with us, everything about her angers us to the point of quarrelling.
When our husbands come home late, it’s the terminator, we’re going to burn the house down to make ourselves feel good, otherwise it’s a disaster.
All this is our pride that is affected and we refuse to leave.
It’s terrible to see us still behaving in certain ways.
It is dangerous to be obeying the pressures of our flesh all the time.
Anger destroys us,
It humiliates us,
It controls us and sometimes puts us in an inferior position.
Why should we get angry every time things don’t suit us.
This is what happened with the children of Adam.
Cain and his brother Abel.
Cain was a ploughman and Abel a shepherd.
Both knew how to worship God, they knew that there had to be an offering of innocent animals as a sacrifice for their sins.
And they decided to put their actions down, just Abel obeyed God.
Abel brought an offering of the first-fruits of his livestock, Cain came with an offering of vegetables, the fruit of his labour.
The Bible tells us that God accepted Abel’s offering and rejected Cain’s offering.
Because of this, Cain got angry, he got mad at God, he was jealous of his brother.
The Lord came to speak to Cain about his attitude, warned Cain of the consequences of anger, advised him to control it or it would take him out of his destiny.
In this hatred, Cain killed Abel.
We are all Cain, we have anger within us that manipulates us, we can’t shut it up.
We think that by losing our temper we are showing how strong we are, yet losing our temper is a sign of weakness, not strength.
The best way to get rid of anger is to talk to God, to be in his presence.
When we invite God to take control of our emotions, it helps us to see things in the best way.
The problem with anger is the angry self within us.
We can make efforts but until the self in us is broken, we will always give in to anger.
In any case, pray that you don’t get angry easily.
Proverbs, 14:29 – He who is slow to anger has great understanding, But he who is quick to anger proclaims his folly.
He who knows how to control himself, who has mastery over his feelings is mature, lucid, prudent.
But when we are quick to anger, we are no different from the unfortunate, the foolish.
Let us refrain from anger.
Let us flee from anger.
And let Jesus change us and take the glory.
Good morning to all
Good day to you
