My Month Of Stability! Ps62:2

No one is as faithful as you,
Every day is a miracle from you,
Every day should be a day of praise and victory,
Every day our hearts should celebrate you, Lord,
Every day we should know how to humble ourselves at your feet.
We are so proud, so arrogant, so conceited, yet we are all earthworms,
We can’t control anything,
we can’t impose anything.
In the end, it is you, Father, who hold the key, the key to life, the key to death, the key to success…
We are so aware of ourselves that sometimes we forget to recommend ourselves in your hands,
We think so strongly that we can make our plans work that we forget that you are the way, the truth and the life.
The world never stops seducing us,
Egypt never stops attracting us,
We are so fascinated by the blin blin of the earth that we are ready to sacrifice everything for earthly happiness.
We want to tell ourselves this morning that there’s nothing in it. A well-aligned life without Jesus Christ is empty, flat and miserable.
It is Jesus who provides the stability that concerns us,
It is Jesus who offers the comfort that flatters us.
Men lie to us that fortune tellers are effective but the Bible tells us that the things revealed belong to men and the things hidden belong to God.
We have no guarantees if our hearts are not attached to the Lord, we are no different from the needy, the unbelievers, the wretched, the unbelievers.
We think we are alive but we are dead.
Jairus, in the Bible, was the head of the synagogue in Capernaum,
he was respected and influential,
he walked with the Lord, his life was sanctified but his twelve year old daughter was suffering from a terminal illness.
Jairus had already tried everything to save her life, but he had lost hope, she was dying.
Was he going to abandon his daughter? No.
Jairus realised he still had a way out,
he went and threw himself at the Father’s feet, begging him to perform a miracle.
For a long time, Jairus looked for solutions on his own, he went to meet the specialists but he was still not convinced that Jesus was all-powerful because the scribes and Pharisees said that he was an agent of the devil.
Realising that there was no one, or at least that no one could help him, he went to Jesus, putting aside his position and his future, putting aside the influences of the religious authorities.
Beloved, let us go to Jesus, let us not hesitate any longer.
Jesus is not insensitive to the needs of those who put their trust in him.
It is when hope turns into the darkest despair
when light has become thick darkness,
when courage has become the bitterest discouragement.
That’s when Jesus makes his entrance.
And that is our exhortation for today.
Psalms, 40:3 – He brought me out of the pit of destruction, out of the depths of the mire; He set my feet on the rock, He established my steps.
We were lost in the midst of the mountains,
no landmarks,
no vision, but the hand of the Lord restored us,
He tore down the boundaries that were in front of us,
he washed us clean and redeemed us.
Jesus is in our boat, no more doubts,
no more endless situations.
He makes us strong,
he leads us along the path to glory.
We are fixed on our Father and we are counting on him for a favourable outcome.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
