My Month Of Promotion! 1Sam2:8

Lord, you are there for those you love.
You only speak because your love overflows for us,
You want us to be like you,
You want us to be like you, you want us to be happy, and that’s why you give us orders that we must obey.
We remember the story of Saul, after he was anointed king.
Samuel, the prophet, had asked Saul to go to Gigal before him and wait for him there for seven days until he arrived and told him what he had to do.
Samuel was to offer burnt offerings and thanksgiving.
This was the instruction Saul had received from the prophet.
The Bible tells us that Saul waited seven days according to the term set by Samuel.
Samuel did not arrive at Gigal and the people were scattered far from Saul.
So Saul decided to offer the sacrifice instead of the priest because he feared the people and the Philistines.
Every day we do exactly what Saul did,
we do foolish things,
we refuse to keep the commandments that the Lord our God has given us.
This morning, the Lord draws our attention once again to obedience.
We hate instructions even if they are for our own good, we refuse authority and we get into trouble.
We can make a commitment to be like Abraham who was prepared to sacrifice his son to satisfy God’s heart and we have seen the rewards.
We can decide to be like the woman of Zarephath who chose to feed the prophet Elijah first with all she had.
The scriptures tell us that the prophet made a statement: the flour that is in the pot shall not fail, and the oil that is in the jar shall not diminish, until the day that the Lord sends rain upon the face of the ground.
Obedience comes before glory.
Obedience is better than sacrifice.
Obedience opens the gates to royalty.
Deuteronomy, 28:1 – If you obey the voice of the Lord your God, keeping and doing all his commandments which I command you today, the Lord your God will give you dominion over all the nations of the earth.
Fast and pray to find pleasure in obeying the Lord.
There is one condition, God gives us the choice, it’s up to us.
Either we do as he asks and we are blessed, wherever the sole of our hand touches, or we choose the path of perdition which is not profitable for us.
So it’s better to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ and ensure our happiness.
Yes,
It’s up to us…
Hello everyone
Good day to you
