My Month Of Mercy! Lc1:50

Just know that the mercy we play with,
The compassion we play with,
The forgiveness without which our lives are not easy is inescapable.
Let’s be careful about taking mercy lightly.
It is not an obligation for the Lord to grant it to us,
The Lord does it out of love,
It is out of indulgence that the Lord grants it to us.
Many of us keep characters that do not honour God, we think we can do what we want when we want and the Lord will understand.
We think that the Lord must be waiting for us, but we must also know that our Jesus cannot be manipulated, he is not our handyman.
But our God is slow to anger, he is compassionate.
The Bible tells us that a woman committed adultery and was about to be put to death.
The scribes and Pharisees brought the woman into the midst of the people, to be stoned as the Law of Moses says.
The love of men stops when it comes to sin.
Man easily turns his back, easily judges, easily condemns.
Whereas God’s love is broad, always ready to win souls, his love goes beyond the barriers of sin.
It’s not that Jesus loves sin, no. He hates it.
He hates it, but he loves the sinner.
Jesus could have cast the first stone at this mother, but he decided to forgive her and give her a personal identity.
For this woman, it was all doom and gloom,
she knew it was the end,
She knew that no one could defend her, she knew that her sin was an abomination in the eyes of society until she met the Lord.
So the woman recognises that there is an authoritative voice that is her defender and protector, and has no intention of neglecting the grace that has just spoken for her,
she is aware that she must arrange her life and consecrate it to the Lord.
In any case, she recognises the value of mercy.
Psalms, 26:11 – I walk blamelessly; deliver me and have mercy on me.
Fast and pray that you don’t take God’s mercy for granted.
Despite our sins, let us keep our hearts attached to God.
Our walk with God has an effect on the people around us, especially those who are influenced by us.
We must be imitators of Christ and not compromise ourselves.
Let us always be at the Lord’s feet so that he can break us and separate us from everything that disqualifies us.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
