My Month Of justice! Mal4:2

The Philistines had returned to fight against Israel and David’s three elder brothers had joined Saul’s army.
So one day Jesse said to David, “Go and take some roasted grain and bread to your brothers and see how they are doing.
As soon as he got to the camp, David ran to the battle line to see his brothers.
*But a giant Philistine named Goliath came up to the Israelites to insult them.
*He had been there morning and evening for 40 days: *Do you choose a man to come and fight me?
*If he is the strongest, we will be your slaves. But if I am the strongest, you will be our slaves.
I challenge you.
David asked: *What will be done for the man who brings down this Philistine and delivers Israel from the shame that has been brought upon it?
He was told: *Saul will shower the victor with great riches and give him his daughter as a wife.
But the Israelites were afraid of Goliath, for he was so tall. The man was almost three metres tall!
Before him walked a soldier carrying his shield.
It was reported to King Saul that David wanted to fight Goliath.
But Saul said to David, “You cannot fight this Philistine. You are only a boy and he has been a soldier all his life.* David replied: *I killed a bear and a lion that were carrying away sheep from my father’s flock. And this Philistine will have the same fate. Then Saul said: *Go, and let Jehovah be with you.
David went to a stream and picked out five smooth stones and put them in his shepherd’s bag.
Then, slingshot in hand, he advanced towards the giant. Goliath was stunned at the sight of him. Really, he’d have no trouble taking him down.
*Come to me”, cried Goliath, “so that I may feed your body to the birds and beasts”.
David replied: *You come to me armed with sword, spear and javelin; I come to you armed with the name of Jehovah. This very day Jehovah will deliver you into my hands.
So David ran towards Goliath. He took a stone from his bag, put it in his slingshot and threw it with all his might.
The stone hit the giant in the forehead and sank in.
The man fell dead!
When the Philistines saw that their champion had fallen, they fled.
The Israelites pursued them and were victorious.
Fast and pray that you will not be afraid of the wicked.
Matthew, 10:28 – Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Jesus reminds us that in the light of the eternal life that awaits us with the Lord, the sufferings of this life, even if they seem insurmountable, are brief and insignificant compared to the joys of heaven.
A mother who gives birth suffers, of course, but that suffering only lasts for a short time and is quickly eclipsed by the joy of having her little child in her arms.
So let us know that victory comes from the Lord.
Good morning to you all
Good day to you all
