My Month Of Testimonies! Ps75:9

The Bible tells us that two disciples went to a village called Emmaus, not far from Jerusalem.
They were telling each other what had happened and how Jesus had risen from the dead.
As they walked and talked, Jesus joined them, but they could not recognise the Lord.
They showed Jesus their disappointment at his death and told him how Jesus was a prophet powerful in deed and word before God and all the people, and how the chief priests and magistrates had handed him over to be condemned to death and crucified him.
The disciples went on to say that they hoped he would be the one to deliver Israel.
The rest of their story to the Lord explains that they were astonished by the words of the women who had been at the tomb that morning.
Having not seen the body of the deceased, they came to say that the angels had reassured them that Jesus was alive.
According to the checks made by some people at the Sepulchre, Jesus was not there.
The Lord rebuked them for their disbelief and shared his table with them.
It was then that the disciples’ eyes were opened and they recognised him.
This is how these two disciples returned to Jerusalem to confirm to the others what had happened to them and to reaffirm that Jesus had really risen.
It was in this context that Jesus reappeared to them and showed them the trials of his suffering, while reminding them that the scriptures they already knew had to be fulfilled.
And Jesus opened their minds to understand the scriptures, hence the passage that interests us.
Luke, 24:48 – You are witnesses of these things.
Pray to witness good things.
Beloved, let us not allow our doubts to keep us from our blessings.
We must be among those who spread God’s goodness,
We must be those who live their faith with works.
Because the resurrection of Jesus was a miraculous and powerful thing.
Let us refuse to be spectators of God’s glory.
Let us be actors who see and touch the victory of Jesus on the cross.
Let us learn to receive the gospel with our hearts and not with our minds.
Let us stop wanting the Lord to reveal himself to us in the way of the world.
Thank you Father for your genuine love.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
