My Month Of Testimonies! Ps75:9

Beloved, going out to evangelise is not a chore.
Nor is it an imposition,
It is God’s work.
Every time we get organised to go and do evangelism, many of us are not motivated.
We feel weighed down and each of us comes up with an excuse not to go.
Some think it’s a mission assigned to the pastor and his team.
Others find that they are not equipped to convince a soul.
In all cases, we exercise evangelism lightly.
When the Lord told us to “go and make disciples of all nations”, he was not speaking to us.
the Lord was not speaking only to men of God, he was speaking to all those who call themselves children of God.
So how is it that we say we are doing God’s work but we refuse to get involved in his service?
How can we say we love Jesus, and everything about him is repugnant to us?
we don’t want others to know that we are hallelujahs…?
Let’s go back to our posts, the word of God must resound throughout the world for Jesus to return.
And it’s our fault that many are still dragging their feet.
Our attitude shows non-believers that there is no victory or blessing in our case, and nothing encourages them to follow us in the church.
Our behaviour is sometimes unpleasant because we don’t want Jesus to come into our lives.
The Bible tells us that Jesus never goes unnoticed in people’s lives, he always leaves an imprint, he breaks protocol and the story is automatically told.
The encounter between Jesus and the Samaritan woman was strategic.
The woman who had been a prostitute radically changed her life,
The woman who was full of anger for the Jews was filled with love.
And when the transformation is real, the testimony follows, the Samaritan woman was happy to announce the power of Jesus to a whole neighbourhood, she was able through her story to bring many to conversion and to enter into the Lord’s covering.
When things are difficult and the Lord gives us solutions, we can only give thanks and bless the name of the Lord.
Twelve years of suffering,
Twelve years of pain,
Twelve years of sickness,
Twelve years of stench, rejection and humiliation.
And one day, Jesus makes the difference between what men say and what he says.
And the healing is permanent.
What else does this lady have to do but proclaim the word of God for his goodness and his deliverance.
Telling her story attracts others who are going through the same difficulties to come and try our Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
This morning we encourage each other not to despise the word of God.
It is a balm for broken hearts,
It is a strength for weak souls,
It is a power for certain situations.
2 Timothy, 1:8 – So don`t be ashamed of your testimony to our Lord, or of me as his prisoner. But suffer with me for the gospel,
Be proud to proclaim the gospel of Christ.
Nothing should shake us when we have to take spiritual stands.
It is Jesus or nothing.
He is the way, the truth and the life.
Let us not be afraid to be servants and slaves of the living God.
The Gospel is not a storybook, it’s a divine manual to help us walk in the footsteps of the Lord.
So let’s make evangelism a priority.
Good day to you all
