My Month Of Gratitude! 1Thes5:18

A disciple, contrary to what we think, is not a follower,
he’s a pupil,
an apprentice.
It’s a person who attaches himself to a driver and follows him.
We would like to mention the case of Elysée.
He was Elijah’s disciple.
He was the one who poured water on his master’s hand; he was at his master’s disposal.
Elysium decided to leave everything to follow Elijah and when Elijah was to be taken away by the Lord,
he warns Elysium to go his own way.
But Elysium wanted to accompany his master to the end.
So when they reached the banks of the Jordan, Elijah took his cloak and struck the water, which parted to let the two men pass on dry land.
Elysium does not want the servant Elijah to leave him empty-handed,
he wants the double door of the prophet Elijah.
With his master gone, Elisha picks up his cloak,
the one Elijah had already covered him with when they first met, to mark his prophetic destination. He stops on the banks of the Jordan and, armed with the teachings of his master, strikes the waters with it, but nothing happens.
Elysium invoked his master’s God and managed to perform a miracle.
From that day on, the spirit of Elijah rested on Elisha.
Being a disciple means keeping Jesus’ commandments.
Hebrews, 13:15 – Through him let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name.
Hebrews, 13:16 – And don`t forget charity and generosity, for God delights in such sacrifices.
Fast and pray to be a consummate(perfect and complete) disciple of the Lord.
Serving God is not words.
It is actions,
it’s love,
it’s the heart,
it’s giving,
it’s gratitude.
Let’s just be disciples who recognise the master’s voice and follow him.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
