My Month Of Mercy! Lc1:50

We want to focus on our neighbour this morning.
When we talk about our neighbours, we don’t necessarily mean our family or our friends. We want to turn our attention to those who are not automatically connected to us,
those who don’t always share our standard of living…
Our neighbour is someone in need,
a neighbour,
a paralytic,
a homeless person,
it’s a soul who’s an alcoholic or a prisoner.
To do good or to have mercy on a person in our midst who does nothing for God, it is normal for our Lord that we take care of our own, it is our obligation, it is our responsibility but when we go beyond our limit to humble ourselves at the feet of a poor person,
when we take a minute to hold the hand of someone who is broken,
when we stop to intercede for a brother who is haunted by the devil without interest, just out of love.
This is what our Yaweh focuses on.
We can see on the networks and others, when a news item is there,
the words are vicious, the writings are hurtful, we’re like in a ring,
always in conflict and distraction,
The tensions are acute and sometimes we intervene without understanding and without putting ourselves in the place of others.
But today the Lord wants to teach us something that we miss every time we are faced with a situation where we have to silence our flesh and come back with encouragement, love, forgiveness and appeasement.
The Lord wants us to learn to put ourselves in other people’s shoes,
to support them,
to be generous and, above all, to forgive.
Love for our neighbour is a strong commandment from the Lord.
Let our hearts be pure, let our hearts be humble,
Let our heart be connected to the love of God.
James, 2:13 – for judgment is without mercy to those who have not shown mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgement.
Pray to be compassionate to your neighbour.
Know that if we do not have a compassionate heart,
it will also work against us because on the last day, the Lord will take into account our attitude towards others.
We simply have to remember that mercy, compassion, love, indulgence and forgiveness are beyond the accusations and thoughts of men.
So let us look upon our brothers and sisters with love, and the Lord will repay us.
Good morning
Good day to you
