my Month Of Prosperity! 3Jn1:2

Wealth has made slaves of us all.
We have all become proud with the crumbs we have begun to touch,
We are full of ourselves and have become insensitive with a heart hardened to possessions.
We are all focused on hoarding what men will value,
which will inflate our ego sooner than enjoying precious moments in love and sharing.
Many have possessions but are in emotional prisons,
Many have inheritance but are fundamentally stingy, not generous, just appearances that don’t serve us.
Wealth does not guarantee us sound health or eternal life.
We have defined the profit from our assets as travelling, driving carriages, building big houses, investing in a luxury education for our children, but the question that interests us this morning is whether we are really satisfied with the position our money gives us?
Is it our insurance for heaven?
To enjoy a treasure is not to squander it, it is to recognise the grace of God that we have and to allow others to benefit from it.
How can we say that we enjoy a good thing when the needy are all around us?
How can we really be happy when many are poor?
These assets are sometimes a hindrance to our relationship with God because they take up all the space in our daily lives.
The Bible tells us the story of a man who was proud of his walk with the Lord.
And one day, he went to boast about it and to be an example.
Jesus put him to the test and asked him to sell his possessions and give the money to the poor.
What an instruction!
And the young man did not qualify for heaven.
Like him, we are so attached to vain things that we are incapable of giving them up to conform to spiritual laws.
We cannot rejoice in the earth when our heaven is closed,
it is our connection with God that stabilises our power.
Ecclesiastes, 6:2 – There is a man to whom God has given riches and wealth and glory, and who lacks nothing for his soul that he desires, but God does not allow him to enjoy it, for a stranger will enjoy it. This is vanity and a serious evil.
Fast and pray to enjoy your riches.
Anyone who does not accept that social status is a gift of God’s grace and who has no respect for God cannot really and fully exploit what he has because his heart is ungrateful.
To take advantage of our glory is above all to be attached to the Lord.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
