I followed a show one day.
An African boxer was used to fight an American at home, in his zeal and his sufficiency, he said he can not be beaten by an African and on his land and more.
hmmmmmmm
Pride is a sin that God hates.
He keeps people away from Jesus.
The proud is too much, too boastful.
The proud does not feel strong, perfect, invincible, over himself, better than the others, capable of forgetting that there is a supreme being.
Pride affects our life and destroys it.
Even Christians are over-proud because God raised them.
I remember a member of our church who did not have stability.
One day, God remembered him, the doors opened, he started not to come to church anymore, to say that the church is far from home or when he is no longer there. time…
The day he is happy, he sends his wife.
That’s what we are when we are decorated.
We are often of a humility when we do not have the means of our policy but the day when God visits us, our true us wakes up and if we do not seize Jesus very strong, we lose ourselves.
How many men of God bend their knees before Jesus in full worship or prayer?
Some do not even stand up when we are about to receive the highest authority of all time.
They are very comfortable in their chair often even with crossed feet.
What a contempt !!!!
No humility, no respect!
And we say that we serve Jesus to criticize others who are lagging behind.
Lord, forgive us.
Do not confuse self-confidence or pride after an action provided it is a good dose and pride.
Pastors discuss the throne with Jesus, they think they do what they do for themselves, they forget that it was Jesus who chose them, anointed them and used them.
So that the spirit of superiority, the contempt of authority, the arrongance are silent in the proud for the Lord to wear.
The Bible tells us in James, 4:16 – But now you boast in your proud thoughts. It is bad thing to boast that way.
Fast and pray arrogant never to be arrogant because of your statute.
Let us beware of this sin when we are blessed, let us abstain from giving ourselves glory when the harvest is there,
Only God is worthy and deserves glory.
Lord, have mercy on us, teach us the love of you and break all pride in us.
Make us depend on, we desire to give you our time, our talents and ours treasures. May the glory returns to the holy spirit.
