Zachee was a rich man, he disguised others to extend his possessions.
He might have had the ease, and contacts he needed, he was a powerful man but he was an impostor.
He realized that although he had * everything *, he was empty, alone … and one day he met Jesus.
JESUS was the only and last thing that zachee needed to understand that there is someone who is more than he thought and the Lord l restored him.
Zachee did not even want his wealth to disconnect him from his salvation.
He knew that his property was badly acquired, he knew that people did not like it.
But her encounter with Jesus led her to return everything that did not belong to her owners with interest.
Another story in the Bible.
After wasting all his inheritance, the prodigal son went home to his father with nothing, no money, no work.
He just wanted to rebuild his life and needed to survive.
But having asked his father’s forgiveness, he restored him as a son of the house.
To return what does not belong to us is to restore.
And that’s the lesson of this morning.
*restitution*
Restitution is repaying debts, it is asking forgiveness to those we have offenses …
To restore is to give, it is to show one’s good faith, it is also to be generous.
It is a law, to have / possess, we must learn to repair our wrongs, our injustices committed.
Restitution is a divine institution.
In the book of Numbers 5: 7 – he will confess his sin, and he will restore in its entirety the ill-gotten object, by adding a fifth; he will hand him over to him to whom he has been guilty.
Fast and pray to restitute everything you owed to others.
We all aspire to happiness and happiness, it’s normal and it’s legitimate because we are girls and sons of God. This is our heritage.
But we can not fully enjoy our assets if we rob others to have them, our happiness would be ephemeral.
We each have experience, people owe us, they confiscate what belongs to us one way or another.
Our goods are in their hands perhaps because we have helped them, maybe they have taken strength and are happy.
But the Lord reconfirms the passage of the month and gives us our possessions.
Those of us who have taken the shoe, the bag, the cars, the houses or even the money of others and refuse to give, we refuse to ask forgiveness and make peace, we stay on our positions that are not always correct to justify us …
Let us know that the God of restitution is standing.
We can not get an inheritance when we are in debt, either we give back or we will be poor.
Restitution calls for wealth and roots us in the voice of the Lord.
The Bible says the one who pays his debts gets rich because when we put the good of someone, he is at peace with us, his heart is light, he bless us and pray for us.
The Lord is happy because we obeyed his word and he blessed us in return.
Speaking of tithing, it’s the same.
He who does not pay his dime steals God and therefore can not rejoice or flourish from the heavenly patrimony at least that he restores to God what is due to him by adding a fifth.
God is a fine strategist.
He made everything easy for us, he always gives us an opportunity to catch up with us.
So let’s pray to learn to be integrated, loyal and honest.
Pray that our goods will be returned to us.
Let’s say thank you to the Lord for his word.
Good people of God
Have a good day.
