Will we one day be selfless people?
We don’t know, Lord, but we wish it.
Our hearts are too attached to material, honors, glory.
We always want to be served, we want to come before everyone else, to have privileges.
We walk with our personal interests but know that a person who serves God and who is always looking for money and his interests does not correspond to the desire of the heart of God.
We are friends with others, we are attracted to them because we take advantage of them, because we want to use them, because we want to exploit them, we do nothing without calculation, without profit and we call ourselves children of God .
We operate according to the model of the world and we allow ourselves to be distorted by its system.
We have become individualists, carefree with a heart closed to all love.
Where did the early church that carried others in prayer go?
where did the agape love that brought us together and consoled us go?
Nowadays, we have put our will before that of the Lord, what pleases the Lord no longer concerns us, what satisfies the heart of God no longer matters to us.
We have made the Lord to the second rank of our lives, he is no longer our first love, he is no longer the object of our attention.
Our interests are elsewhere, in vanities, but let’s just know that it is important for us to seek the interests of God.
Since we want to do with ourselves, what has advanced?
Since we are undecided, what is the record of our lives?
When the Lord is first in our lives, we have the victory, we have the assurance that God is fighting for us and that our choices are guided by him.
We cannot make a covenant with God and not serve his interests.
In his house there are rules, we must stay together, pray for each other, bless each other, encourage each other, support each other.
Philippians, 2:21 – all, indeed, seek their own interests, and not those of Jesus Christ.
Always seek for the interest of the Lord.
Paul criticizes the Philippians for not taking their situation to heart.
To help even the church, we must first measure what we can gain, we don’t give for nothing, we always expect something in return.
We cannot do the work of God by reasoning, seek the interests of others, no longer stand aside.
It is our interests that come first and it is dangerous in the church which is supposed to encourage love.
We are together but we do not greet each other, we do not speak to each other, even when a brother is sick or is absent, we are at peace and without remorse and we say we come together for the glory of God.
In all sectors we are interested, an employee is looking for promotion and his salary increase.
God must be the center of our lives, we must entrust our hearts to him and surrender ourselves in his hands.
The interests of the Lord boil down to obedience and keeping the covenant.
Father, we want to ask for your forgiveness, we repent for each time that we have placed our pride above you, we regret the actions and the reactions that we had believing to control everything and to control everything.
You are all powerful and we owe you EVERYTHING.
Hello
Have a good day
