My Month Of Acknowledgement! 1Th5:16-18

Like us, Israel had sinned, the Lord kept rebuking us and warning us but alas…
For seventy years Israel was in captivity in Babylon with just a promise from God to deliver them.
And when the time to release the blessing came, God kept his word and that’s what he will do for us today, *refresh the weary and satisfy the weak*
How is it possible to live away from such a loving and caring God?
We are invited to bring our sufferings to Jesus, to find comfort in his presence.
It is in intimacy that the Lord renews us, reveals his love to us, brings us peace in our times of affliction and rewards us with the fruits of his kingdom.
When we are in despair, in the grip of doubt, God tells us:
Jeremiah 31:25 – For I will refresh the thirsty soul, And I will satiate every yearning soul.
Give thanks to the Lord who watches over your well-being.
We all have our thirsts and sometimes we think that nothing can quench it, we are dehydrated that even water is not enough to quench our thirst.
The people of Israel lived through trying times, it did not turn out that the cause of their misfortune was disobedience but the Lord, beyond our deficiency and our lightness does not abandon his own, he protects them and supports them.
Too many hardships, too many shocks have dried up our soul and we are looking for ways and means to relax but the thirst remains.
We are in a world that is going badly and it is useless for us to run straight into the wall, let’s turn back, it is the Lord who fills and quenches our thirst.
He told the Samaritan woman that as long as she continues to drink water from Jacob’s well, she will always be thirsty, yet if she gives up everything to come back to him, he will give her of his living water, the water eternal, the water of life.
And that’s what we all need.
Bless the name of the Lord
Let us raise it for the restoration of our souls.
Let us be grateful that the Lord transforms our weaknesses into strength, our fears into joy.
It gives us hope for a better and more certain future.
Bless him!
