My Month Of Perseverance! Matt24:13

If the Lord speaks to us of temptation today, it is because there is a tempter.
Its purpose is to kill, to slaughter, to divert us from the path of obedience to God.
Several factors lead us to temptation, the world is going through painful times and if we do not root ourselves in Jesus, we will be tempted to lie to have enough to eat, to live a bad life to meet our needs, to despise others to feel superior, to seek only material goods, to feed our pride, not to believe in God because we are satisfied…
This is what happens when the reign of evil dominates.
This is why it is important to distance yourself from anything that awakens or feeds temptation.
Let us ask ourselves this morning what attracts us so much that we are sometimes ready to deny Jesus?
Many of us are discouraged, not everything they do prospers, they suffer from anxiety and some want to take the easy way out, they are drawn to what Egypt has to offer.
Be careful, let’s occupy our thoughts, let Jesus saturate us with him, let’s not give space to the devil to control us.
We have our Bibles to read, we have subjects to present to the Lord, we must constantly raise a perfume of adoration to the Lord…
David, what are you doing on the roof, you’re not at your post, you’re a man of God, don’t you have anything to do?
You come from a family where sex keeps you captive, you have not yet dealt with this vice and you allow yourself to wander, to let your thoughts take you away.
We must always be in a spiritual atmosphere especially when our weakness is not far away, and it is in this momentum that David fell into temptation, he was seduced by Betsheba, Uriah’s wife.
The lust of the eyes, he appropriated his servant’s wife, he committed adultery and sin entered.
Many are alcoholics today because they accepted an invitation and had bad encounters that convinced them to just try a beer that eventually became a tradition.
We all need perseverance in temptation,
In any case, the apostle James bequeaths us a passage in James, 1:12 – Blessed is the man who patiently endures temptation; for after being tested, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love him.
Pray to overcome all forms of temptations.
If Jesus himself was tempted in the desert, who are we?
According to the verse, only those who know Jesus will know how to face temptation, and those who resist temptation will receive the crown of glory.
We must be strong to pass this test if we are to enter the promised land.
Let’s not run away from the trials, face them, let’s assume our responsibilities and continue to fight.
It is in this tenacity that the Lord shows his glory.
The best way to persevere in temptation is to keep the word of God, to watch and to pray.
Only Jesus can help us in our weaknesses, so let’s stand firm.
hello to us
Have a good day
