My Month Of Victory! 1Co15:57

In you, Lord, we place our trust.
In you, Lord, we place our hope.
We know that you are faithful and that you always fulfil your promises.
Above all, we want to ask your forgiveness because we have not been complete with you.
We went to Egypt because our eyes led us to believe that it was the end,
We ended up in hotel beds because our age weighed on us and we wanted to find our own way.
We have been betrayed, trampled underfoot, disappointed and rejected by our families because we believe that they are our everything and that without them we are lost.
People have traumatised us, intimidated us because they said they had the strength, the experience, the armour to crush us.
We let ourselves be influenced because we weren’t positioned, we didn’t know what alliance we were established on.
Jacob saw Laban as a father, a friend and a confidant, but Laban did not hesitate to take advantage of him.
Jacob loved and trusted Laban, he thought it should be child’s play with his relative but Jacob became a slave with his uncle.
Jacob forgot that he is the one who carries the blessing,
he has forgotten that he is a servant of God,
he forgot that his God is faithful.
But one day, Jacob had had enough and went to tell his uncle that they must part,
That he knows who he is,
That he knows who his God is, so he refuses to continue in this frustration.
For years, he believed that his uncle had integrity, he believed that loyalty was a normal thing, but he has been deceived.
Let’s not put our trust in a man, otherwise we’ll be disappointed,
It’s Jesus we should be interested in,
It’s the Lord we should be looking to.
Every time we look away, things get more complicated.
Every time we wait for others, bitterness fills our hearts.
Psalms, 146:3 – Put not your trust in princes, in the sons of men, who cannot save.
Fast and pray never to put your trust in human beings.
Those we call great, wise, better are limited.
We think they can give us better advice, but the truth is in God’s hands and he alone can give us the best direction.
