My Month Of Honor! Jn12:26

We know that this morning’s subject will cause a lot of controversy.
We are also aware that it is a subject that causes us all to murmur and criticise the word of God.
But we are not here to be interested in what Man thinks.
What does the Lord say?
What will please him?
What has he planned?
These are the things that gladden our hearts.
To know that we are walking according to the mind of our Father.
Let’s say we’re old-fashioned, that’s okay.
We have limited reasoning, that’s not an insult,
That we are has-beens, that’s not a worry.
Let’s remember that even if we follow fashion, even if society pushes us to accept their laws and put them into practice, it’s not always a spiritual truth.
Nowadays, it’s normal to have a man who is not our spouse by our side,
It’s normal to have sex before getting married.
Science tells us that sex relaxes us,
it gives us stability and balance.
You have to know your partner sexually before making a commitment, otherwise nothing will be OK.
We’ve all embraced this idea, we’ve been quick to tolerate this practice, which has trampled on God’s will, and we’ve imposed it on our lives.
In all this, to please and we are Christians.
We call ourselves children of God and we love everything that is contrary to him.
Lot’s children got their father drunk and slept with him to have children.
For them, it was normal to sleep with their Father if they didn’t want to live without children.
They had lived and grown up in Sodom and Gomorrah, a place where perversity ran deep.
They joined in with the mentality of the country and were influenced by it.
Fornication is a sin linked to sex.
It is the cause of disease,
abortions,
unwanted pregnancies.
It is not only a sin against God but also against our bodies.
To decide to be immodest is to decide to destroy oneself.
Fornication is gaining ground and tarnishing the image of the church.
Beloved, God wants us to abstain from all sexual acts outside marriage.
This is not the word of the pastor,
nor the warnings of parents or brothers in the faith,
it is the mind of God himself.
Joseph refused to sleep with his boss’s wife.
Clearly, having a relationship with Potiphar’s wife gave him many advantages, but he would still be missing out on a glorious destiny.
Let’s be careful how we open the doors of disgrace on our lives.
Let us preserve ourselves and respect the laws laid down by our Lord.
1 Thessalonians, 4:4 – that every one of you know how to possess his body in holiness and honesty,
Pray not to defile your body.
This is a responsibility that God has given to every person.
No one is going to come and confuse us or give us bad advice.
We must do everything we can to avoid finding ourselves in constricting situations.
That’s why we must avoid bad company,
This is why we must not make an alliance with false reasoning,
That is why we must remain attached to the Lord.
Only God gives us the strength to flee fornication.
We are weak and vulnerable, we are easily influenced, so the best thing is to follow in the footsteps of the Lord so as not to skew our destinies.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
