We sometimes hear ourselves proclaiming ourselves to be wise when we’ve come up with a little suggestion that makes a bit of sense, or when we’ve lined up a nice little phrase that flatters our ears… “Wisdom as we claim it!
*Wisdom, as we claim it!
To be wise is the wish of us all, but we cannot also flee God’s presence and covet what belongs to him,
We cannot choose to embrace the laws of Egypt and expect God’s grace to work for us.
Wisdom is based on the fear of God.
So if we want to take the step into the process of wisdom,
we also have conditions to meet.
Let’s start doing our part,
begin to obey the Lord’s command,
begin to submit to God’s will,
to trust in God,
in his love,
in his power.
We are not talking about the wisdom of men, which is foolishness to God,
Wisdom according to God is based on the word of God,
So if the world thinks we’re crazy because we’ve danced for God until our clothes were torn, or we’ve made an out-of-the-ordinary offering or sacrifice to the Lord, or we’ve torn our hearts in the presence of God, or we’ve overturned the altars of our fathers’ houses to make God’s hand reign, it doesn’t matter, what matters is that our Lord be glorified.
We cannot live by the world’s standards and proclaim ourselves wise to God.
The problem with God’s children is that we are afraid and ashamed of what men will think of us. We cannot live according to God’s will and at the same time be with the world.
We have to make a choice and accept it.
When the Bible talks about the renewal of thought, it’s talking about dismantling limited human thoughts with higher divine thoughts.
And we cannot be regenerated away from the word of God, it is impossible to change our lives without wisdom.
If we don’t become wise
we will miss the return of Jesus Christ,
as the parable of the ten virgins teaches us.
The ten virgins waited for the bridegroom to return, but those who were wise were able to meet the bridegroom because they lived according to the wisdom of God.
But if we have one foot in the world and another in Christ, we will never be ready for Christ’s return.
The Eternal draws our attention, and it is up to us to draw near and draw strength and light from him.
Fast and pray to become and remain wise.
Proverbs, 3:35 – The wise will inherit glory, but the foolish will inherit shame.
Those who walk and espouse the vision of Yaweh will be exalted,
those who recognise the privilege of serving our God,
these are the ones who will be acclaimed, on the other hand, if we introduce ourselves with human calculations into the presence of God,
all our plans will come to nothing and we will be like dogs eating crumbs under the table.
Wisdom means letting the Lord crush us and kill the mentalities that destroy us.
So let’s entrust ourselves to wisdom itself.
It is called Jesus Christ.
It is called the Word of God.
It’s called the Holy Scriptures.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
