We’re entering an energetic month in which each of us must put our feet on the ground.
Above all, we want to salute God for this privilege,
we want to acknowledge that his love is perfect,
we thank the Lord for counting us among the chosen ones who have trodden this season.
The honour is all yours…
It’s a grace we’re not aware of, so Father, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
We were saying that we have to be careful because this is a month like no other.
It’s a month whose number symbolises disorganisation,
disorder,
confusion,
disorder, incoherence,
sloppiness,
decay,
disruption…
It goes in all directions and we need Jesus to keep us on our feet, stable, otherwise we’ll lose control.
We can gloat, jump and dance, but let’s not forget that God’s presence is all we need at this time.
When there is mixture, anything can happen,
When there’s trouble, there’s no happiness or peace,
When there is amalgam, a nation loses all rest and squanders all its wealth.
When there is misguidance, there is no discernment.
In all this jumble, our Lord remains faithful,
he is always showering us with kindness,
He is always ready and willing to find solutions to get us out of the jams.
As far as the Lord is concerned, he doesn’t want us to come out of there empty-handed,
so he has made provision for those who will do his will, for those who will walk according to his principles,
a gift that only he can give.
The Father therefore envisages that in the midst of this meli melo
he will reassure himself that these children are safe, he intends to carry us under his wings to take us across the sea.
We have limited our lives to our experiences,
we see only impossibilities before us, but let’s just know that the God of restitution is at work, he who neither slumbers nor sleeps is watching.
He has baptised this month “our month of possession”.
Job, 42:12 – In his last years, Job received more blessings from the Lord than he had in his first. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, a thousand yoke of oxen and a thousand donkeys.
Job was a man of integrity and righteousness, but at one point in his life,
the devil came and made a mess of things.
The story tells us that Job suffered rejection,
illness,
contempt…
A man who was loved and respected had lost everything, but the Lord, who is always reassured that the end is better than the beginning, restored everything.
The Lord gave him more than he had lost, and Job’s testimony travelled the earth.
That’s what the Lord wants to do for you and for me.
He wants us to have a new beginning,
he wants the old man in us to lose all his means and depend completely on him.
1 John, 5:4 – for whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and the victory that overcomes the world is our faith.
Bless the Lord for your new birth and its blessings.
Because we are children of God, we will always have victory over what Egypt is up to.
We have firm confidence in our Jesus.
If he is with us, who will be against us?
Hello friends
Good day to you
