My Month Of Possession! Job42:12

As children of God, the Bible tells us that wherever the soles of our feet tread, we own.
So if we want to achieve a goal
we have to trust in God,
we must put our faith into action and move forward step by step without getting discouraged.
To take possession of a place
you have to overcome laziness, criticism and murmuring.
So to conquer Jericho, we not only had to be strong, we also had to have the discernment to put God’s strategies into practice.
The Bible tells us that there was an embargo on Jericho.
The city was closed and barricaded,
No one could get in or out.
God explained to his servant Joshua his plan for taking the city.
The Lord had promised to give his people this powerful and strong city.
The king of Jericho and his people were proud of their strength, they did not believe that God was the master of the world.
Israel’s army was to march around the city for six days, and on the seventh day Israel was to blow the trumpets to break down the wall of Jericho.
Israel obeyed the Lord and trusted him.
It wasn’t about strength and organisation,
it was submission to the word of God.
We should also note that Israel went to war with the ark, with God,
This means that they were counting on the Lord’s intervention.
When we show interest in God’s presence in all our battles, we must be sure that blessing will accompany us.
We have the power to rule, the Lord has given us the authority.
Our environment changes when the Holy Spirit is on the move.
His presence alone makes a difference.
The ark of the Lord stayed with Obed Edom of Gath for three months.
David thought that the ark would kill him as it had killed Uzzah,
That’s why he sent the ark to Obed Edom’s house, but when he heard that blessing abounded in his servant’s house, he ran to take the ark back.
God’s presence gives us the ability to dominate our environment.
Deuteronomy, 1:8 – See, I have set the land before you; go and possess the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, to give to them and to their descendants after them.
You have the ability to dominate your environment.
What our eyes see, we can take possession of.
We must learn to see with our spiritual eyes or we will not be able to see the blessings that the Lord places in our path.
If we are blind, our feet will lack the strength to conquer our inheritance.
So if we wish to dominate our environment and possess, there is only one thing to do: *BECOME.
