My Month Of Gratitude! 1Thes5:18

We thank you, Father.
We promised not to ask you for anything during this month.
All year long, that’s all we’ve done, ask you.
Now it’s our turn to recognise that you are our beginning and our end.
It’s our turn to appreciate your loving hand on our lives.
We asked for protection, you gave it to us.
We asked you for life, you gave it to us.
We asked you for provision, you did not fail to satisfy us.
And until then, we always find something to say, we’re not happy,
we never stop complaining
our worries never cease to overwhelm us on more than one occasion,
you let us know that you are with us and that you are listening to us.
So this morning we’re here to tell you how grateful we are.
Every day we go to our workplaces, we use the machines but we don’t have any accidents or incidents, it’s because you precede us in our footsteps.
We would like to express our gratitude to you.
We thought you weren’t listening to us, we thought your ears were too hard, but we recognise that you are with us.
Isaac begged you for the barrenness of his wife, and you answered him,
Abraham begged you for his nephew Lot, and you answered his prayer.
So we give you thanks, Father.
Jonah, 2:2 – Jonah prayed to the Lord his God in the belly of the fish.
Be thankful that the Lord hears your prayers.
Jonah was sent to Nineveh to evangelise but he refused to obey the Lord because he thought the Lord was compassionate.
In his will, he ended up in a ship that was buffeted by the storm because of him.
Unable to continue, the people in the boat threw him into the sea and he was swallowed by the fish.
So Jonah prayed to God to save him.
And the victory was effective.
The Lord is listening to us, so let’s continue to be in his presence and give him thanks.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
