My Month Of Praises! He13:15

As we were going to the place of prayer, a servant girl who had the mind of a Python, and who, by guessing, brought great profit to her masters, came to meet us,
and began to follow Paul and us. She cried out, “These men are servants of the Most High God, and they are announcing to you the way of salvation.
She did this for several days. When Paul was tired, he turned and said to the Spirit, “I command you, in the name of Jesus Christ, to come out of her. And he went out that very hour.
When the servant’s masters saw that the hope of their gain was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace before the magistrates.
They brought them before the magistrates, saying, “These men are troubling our city;
They are Jews who preach customs which we Romans are not allowed to accept or follow.
The crowd also rose up against them, and the magistrates tore off their clothes and ordered them to be beaten.
When they had beaten them, they threw them into prison and told the jailer to keep them safely.
The jailer, having received this order, threw them into the inner prison and tied their feet with the stocks.
About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing the praises of God, and the prisoners heard them.
Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; at the same moment all the doors were opened, and the bonds of all the prisoners were loosened.
The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, thinking that the prisoners had escaped.
But Paul cried out in a loud voice, “Do yourself no harm; we are all here.
Then the jailer asked for a light, hurried in, and threw himself trembling at the feet of Paul and Silas;
Faced with situations that gnaw at us and poison us, we need to get out of our comfort zones and seek God’s face,
In the midst of troubles, we need to be able to raise our voice from where we are to worship our Lord.
It’s not just when things are going well that we need to glorify our Daddy.
It’s even when things go wrong,
it’s when we’re suffocated,
it is even when we are frustrated that we must find the strength to take moments of intimacy with Yaweh.
It is each of us who knows who God is for us,
It’s each of us who feels the pain of our problems,
So when it comes to entrusting them to the Lord, we don’t have to look at our standing, our position,
our position.
It’s about God, the one from whom we expect miracles and wonders.
Getting up at night to pray and praise is a time of reunion and encounter,
We make this sacrifice to be in God’s presence,
we want to touch God’s heart because we don’t want distraction,
we don’t want wandering,
we don’t want amusement.
Paul and Silas wanted everyone to know who they were, they wanted those in charge of the prison to know that nothing could separate them from the love of God,
they wanted others to witness the miracle that was about to happen, because doubt is not something they share,
they trusted in their Redeemer.
So they began to proclaim the glory of God,
they remembered the word that tells us to always be joyful, whatever the circumstances.
They praised,
they sang,
they danced for the King of kings and the power of God worked a miracle.
So we who are still dragging our feet and favour rest,
laziness,
heaviness or nonchalance,
know that praising God in the midst of trials brings blessing.
Like Paul and Silas, let us present our burdens to the Lord and unburden ourselves with songs of joy.
We learn from this text that the night is a favourable time to break down the doors that resist us.
So let us rise and worship the name of the Lord.
Acts, 16:25 – Towards midnight, Paul and Silas prayed and sang the praises of God, and the prisoners heard them.
Pray to be able to get up at night and praise the Lord.
Good morning people of God
Good day to you
