My Month Of Praises! He13:15

We surely wonder whether it is possible to skew thanksgiving, to give praise to the Lord out of convenience,
or that our hearts are not at home in the presence of the Lord.
There are all sorts of qualities in the house.
Praise elevates the throne of God, the one who praises God must not seek to steal God’s glory.
The ministry of praise is not compatible with the codes of worldly music.
In the world, we sing to be stars, to be acclaimed, to be seen, but in praise, we sing to humble ourselves and seek the glory of God alone.
Many just use God’s name to turn God’s people away from themselves,
to put on a show that will please the audience and create an atmosphere where Jesus doesn’t sit in the middle.
David himself was a singer of God and we know well the Psalms he composed to the glory of God.
The Bible says that David was a delightful singer of Israel.
He was so anointed by God that just by playing the harp, evil spirits were driven away from Saul.
If we are singers or musicians, let’s not limit ourselves to technique but look for the anointing of God who is able to work in people’s lives as was the case with David.
If we like to compose, let us be inspired by God.
Let’s not just do literature, or say words that sound good to the ear.
Let us be inspired to compose songs or music that come from heaven.
Let us ask for God’s anointing and humility so that we do not fall into the trap of pride.
Let us be filled with God’s Spirit to impact lives and not to seek popularity.
Let us remain Christ-centred in all that we do, and let us reject everything that the world will offer us in order to lead us into ways that will turn us away from God.
May God’s grace be with us and may God’s Spirit enlighten us.
Psalms, 9:2 – I will praise the Lord with all my heart, I will tell of all your wonders.
Fast and pray that your praises will always be true.
When we thank God for a particular grace, we must also remember all the previous graces we have received. Our joy should not be based on the gift alone, but rather on the giver.
He is faithful, our God,
We acknowledge that your love is our assurance.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
