My Month Of Mercy! Lc1:50

What is astonishing about life in Israel’s history, and in ours too, is the way God is loving, merciful and generous towards us, despite our rebellion, our lawlessness and our idolatry.
God is patient and he never ceases to invite us to return to him and repent for our actions.
Israel did not hesitate to make itself a golden calf when its leader went to seek the face of the Lord.
Israel did not refrain from complaining and doubting God when it was thirsty.
Israel played the harlot in the high places because they were unbelievers.
Israel ignored the miracles and wonders that the Lord performed among them when they came out of Egypt.
We are no different from Israel and the Lord is calling us.
We are in church, we sing in the choir but we defile God’s altar by living in disorder,
We are in service but we are also occultists,
We are in the ministry but we prophesy with a lying tongue,
we compromise ourselves and we are among those who poison the gospel…
We just want to say this morning that each of us must remember Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross.
Each of us must remember that God’s love is pure and true.
We have sinned, yes
We have betrayed, yes
We have killed, yes
We have cursed, yes
We have broken the covenant, yes
But our Jesus is always ready to receive us and listen to us.
His hand is always outstretched to welcome us,
Let’s go back to our first love,
Let’s go back to our source,
Let’s go back home,
Let’s go back to our roots,
Let us return to the Father.
His role is not to judge us, nor to condemn us, nor even to accuse us,
He is merciful,
ready to forgive us, ready to offer us a new opportunity to access his grace.
Let’s read what he says in Jeremiah, 3:12 – Go, cry these words to the north, and say, Return, O backsliding Israel, says the Lord. For I am gracious, says the LORD, I will not keep my anger forever.
Bless the Lord for his mercy that allows you to return to him.
This is the mission that the Lord gives us for lost souls in this season.
Let us go to the needy,
those who think they have no hope, to tell them that the Lord is waiting for them, he loves them.
Yaweh is just waiting for us to return to him, and even in his eyes we will see only his kindness and compassion.
Don’t get us wrong, he is tolerant and his anger is temporary for those who know how to come back to bow down and acknowledge their faults.
So, beloved, let us leave behind guilt and bitterness, for the One who removes sorrows is at work.
His name is Jesus Christ and he is calling us; it’s up to us to answer the call.
So it’s up to us to decide.
Hi
Good day to you
Good morning to all of us
