My Month Of Mercy! Lc1:50

Every time we have done a small deed, we think we are supreme,
Every time we have fed or sheltered a soul in distress, we think we are their gods,
Every time we’ve been generous, we think we can be proud.
Let’s just say that we have understood nothing of God’s principles.
To believe that we are above others when our hearts are empty of love is a humiliation for the body of Christ.
Reaching out to a desperate soul does not give us any right over the lives of others.
In fact, we as men love the honours, the glories, the celebrations, we want the cameras to show our deeds so that the world knows we are peaceful, broad-minded, altruistic yet we are simply after our own interests.
Beloved, the Lord does not expect us to put on a show,
he wants us to be his imitators,
he wants our hearts to be pure.
In any case, God is exceptional,
there is no one like him,
He is one of a kind.
He is our comforter,
he is our assurance,
he is the only one whose love is genuine.
The story of a woman caught in adultery who is brought to the temple by the scribes and Pharisees to trap Jesus on a legal and religious issue is our example for the day.
Jesus’ initial response was not to answer, but to start writing on the ground with his finger. The question was so insistent that Jesus replied with this famous phrase: Whoever of you is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone “.
*After this, “they withdrew one by one, beginning with the eldest.
*And he was left alone with the woman in the middle.
*Then Jesus stood up and said to her, “Well, woman, where have they gone? Has no one condemned you?
*She answered, “No one, Lord. Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.
Jesus does not condemn us even when we are guilty.
When we come into contact with Jesus, instead of a word of death, we receive a word of life.
Instead of a fatal verdict, we receive a future.
The thoughts of our Lord are not our own, the Lord knows how to give us opportunities to redeem ourselves.
Daniel, 9:9 – From the Lord our God, mercy and forgiveness, for we have rebelled against him.
The Lord is the only one who is truly merciful.
When we act in any way and everyone judges and condemns us, only Jesus can give us love, joy and peace.
He alone accepts us without frustrating us.
Only with the Lord can we have the guarantee of certain innocence.
So Church, let us rely on the Lord.
Let us truly cling to him.
He is our refuge.
Good day to you all
Good day to you all
