It’s a ban that’s being served up to us this morning.
It is forbidden to cry!
It is forbidden to be discouraged!
It is forbidden to give up!
It is forbidden to weaken!…
Let’s fortify ourselves and take courage!
We are champions at feeling sorry for ourselves when things don’t go our way,
We are the first to complain when a situation resists us!
We are fearful when the sea roars and storms shake.
Very quickly, we doze off,
Very quickly, we want to give up,
Very quickly, we allow ourselves to be swallowed up by the trial.
The Lord loves those who are motivated,
those who want to go forward,
those who charge ahead in the face of adversity.
Let’s not let our weaknesses rob us of our glories.
Beloved, the Lord renews the strength of those who trust in him.
It is not possible to walk outside the ways of the Lord and hope to be renewed by him.
The story of Lazarus is a good illustration of what we do.
Lazarus is ill and we impose that everything be as we want it to be.
We want the pastor to run when we call him,
we want the men of God to pray for us when things get complicated.
Even when we have received a word of comfort, we don’t have enough faith to stand firm.
A problem can escape us,
it can even rot, but as long as we let fear and doubt control the situation
it will be a brake on the renewal of our strength.
The Bible tells us that although Jesus said that his illness was not death, Lazarus still died.
Even when the miracle worker arrived, Martha still wanted to block Jesus’ intervention because she didn’t have enough faith to believe that the Lord could do anything.
She has become weak…
Let us know, beloved, that it is our faith that triggers the omnipotence of the Father,
his intervention,
his love…
Nothing must separate us from God’s love.
So we who are downcast!
We who are going through suffering and hardship!
We who never stop receiving bad news,
We whose finances are barren…
Let us look to Jesus.
Let us trust in Jesus.
He’s the only one who can get us back on our feet!
Only he can rewrite our history!
Why weep!
Why worry!
The solution is found in Isaiah 40:31 – But those who trust in the LORD renew their strength. They will soar like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be weary.
Pray not to be weakened.
If we want to be strengthened, let us trust in Yaweh.
No matter how much energy we expend, we are more than conquerors…
Let us seek God’s face if we want to enter our destiny.
It is in the presence of God that we command the morning, it is at the feet of the Lord that we anticipate the dawn.
Let’s rely on Yaya,
Let’s lean on him and he will take charge of our battles.
Good morning to you all
Good day to you all
