My Month Of Knowledge! Ho4:6

Christians refuse to mature, we want to depend on others, we want others to do everything for us and that’s why many sit in churches waiting for prophecies,
waiting to see what heaven has in store for them but the real problem,
is that many people really have no roots, no identity,
no source,
no resources.
As long as the heir is a child, he remains a slave because he doesn’t know his rights,
he is controlled by his servants.
Is this what we want to be?
Do we want to be light, shallow people?
Unfortunately, this is the problem in today’s church.
The naivety is increased, everything is accepted and all because the lack of spiritual discernment characterises us today.
Let’s look around us: too many bad decisions have been made,
too much false reasoning,
too much superficial understanding,
too much artificial knowledge…
Ignorance overflows and contributes to holding many captive.
Confusion, fear and doubt are just the consequences of our spiritual weakness.
As long as our knowledge is limited, primitive, we’ll have trouble conquering our territories.
1 Thessalonians, 5:21 – But consider all things; hold fast that which is good;
Pray to take time to examine all things before acting.
It’s good to be informed, to develop, but the advice we have this morning is to test everything to see if it’s authentic,
to discern what is good from what is bad,
what is false and what is true.
Each of us must make an effort to learn and distinguish what is pleasing to the Lord.
So let us judge everything, evaluate everything, distinguish everything without leaving anything behind.
And let us take possession of what is noble and just.
Let us embrace it, adopt it,
keep it.
One day, a woman followed Paul several times, exhorting people to believe in him because he is a true worker of the Lord.
What she said was true, but it was a spirit of pith that Paul had to cast out.
Beloved, let us beware of certain prophecies that have destroyed some souls.
Not everyone who speaks from God is inspired by Jesus.
In any case, one of the rights that the Father has given us
is to discern, whatever the source and whatever the word given.
And it’s only in the book of the law that we can strengthen ourselves in order to flee the temptations of the devil.
