My Month Of Humility! Matt18:4

Belshazzar, the son of Nebuchadnezzar, was heir to the throne of Babylon, succeeding his father.
The Bible tells us that he had a high position,
great wealth.
Organising a large-scale feast with so much excess was no problem for him; he favoured lust and a life of debauchery.
So proud of himself and full of pride, he didn’t hesitate to provoke God.
To add ecstasy to the party, he made all his guests drink from gold and silver vessels stolen from the temple in Jerusalem, even though it was sacred and holy in the eyes of the Lord.
During the ceremony, right in the middle of the room, a hand wrote a message on the wall without a word, leaving everyone worried and confused.
Instead of repenting and humiliating himself before the person he had deeply offended, King Belshazzar called on enchanters and magicians to decipher the writing on the wall.
The more the king had no solution, the more anxious he became and the more he made exaggerated promises to the person who would be able to interpret this message, but alas…
The king was distraught, he felt that everything around him was collapsing, and he realised that their so-called wisdom was nothing but an illusion.
This is how the queen, who was not part of the party, came in and proposed a man in her kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods, * she pointed out that Nebuchadnezzar was not the only one who was wise.
*she pointed out that Nebuchadnezzar, his father, had made him ruler because he was found to have a superior spirit of science and intelligence, the ability to interpret dreams, explain riddles and solve difficult problems.
And Daniel was brought before the king and remained humble.
Belshazzar promised Daniel great honours and glory, but Daniel wasn’t interested. He didn’t hesitate to give all the credit to God and replied to the king: *Nevertheless, I will read the writing to the king and explain it to him.
Before that, Daniel reminded him that God had given greatness to Nebuchadnezzar, his father, so that all the peoples trembled before him, but his heart was lifted up and hardened to pride and arrogance.
God threw him from his throne.
And because we don’t know how to learn from the mistakes of others, we tell ourselves that we are protected, safe and that nothing can happen to us. We fall exactly into the ways of our parents without worrying about the consequences of our actions, and that’s what happened with Belshazzar.
Daniel, 5:22 – And you, Belshazzar, his son, have not humbled your heart, even though you know all these things.
Pray that your humility will grow with your knowledge.
The father became arrogant and the son in turn became arrogant against God.
And all the distinguished guests heard the decree given to the king without mercy.
They all heard the decree of the king’s downfall and understood that the sentence was divine and irrevocable.
Let us be careful to ignore the experiences of others.
We must be imitators of our Lord in order to receive the promises attached to our destinies.
Good morning beloved
Good day to you
