Father, thank you once again.
We are already on the ninth day of the month of humility.
You introduce us into an atmosphere of gratitude and adoration,
you remind us how much we must rely on you,
you show us how often we are privileged.
Make us aware of our inadequacies,
make us realise how weak we are and that we don’t need to lift our shoulders.
We have made so many mistakes, Lord.
We were at peace with you,
we were secure with you, we owned our possessions with you,
you led us and led our wars.
LORD, you were our dove of cloud and our dove of fire, and we were a holy nation.
And one day we wanted a king,
we wanted to be like the other nations,
we wanted to be like the others,
we wanted to imitate our neighbours,
we wanted to copy other people’s systems.
And we rejected you.
We forgot the love you had for us,
we forgot the miracles and wonders you worked among us.
Pride has broken us, pride has brought us into bondage.
Our hearts thought they could do without you.
And we have trampled on your grace by asking for a king other than you.
A king who will oppress us,
A king who will condition us,
A king who will disappoint us.
A king who can abandon us and forsake us.
We chose to control a man without knowing that we were putting a yoke on ourselves.
For all this, we want to ask your forgiveness, Yaweh.
We want to beg you to come back and illuminate our families and our countries.
We chose to close our skies because we were not truly attached to the true.
Do not allow our nation to continue to sink.
Raise up men for your work in our land.
Let the gospel be proclaimed and propagated in every nook and cranny of our land.
May knowledge be an effective weapon for our deliverance,
May revelation make its mark on hearts.
So that we may know that what we have comes from the Lord.
Let no man glory in his own merits.
To pray for our country is to pray for our continent.
May the Lord spread the fragrance of blessing over his people.
That’s why we must join our voices to respect the instruction of the day.
Fast and pray for your country.
Zephaniah, 2:3 – Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, who do his ordinances. Seek justice, seek humility. Perhaps you will be spared in the day of the LORD`s wrath.
This is advice for our nation, a warning.
We who think we can get by without the Lord’s help.
It is time to return to his well and search it.
We need to take moments to get in touch with his presence.
Not everyone can handle this intensity, we need concentration and a heart that is submitted to the word of God.
Righteousness and humility must be sought,
it’s not something you find on the streets, it’s something you study,
it’s investigated,
it is deepened,
discovered…
It’s a whole process. Being humble and just comes from God.
It is by having the fruit of the spirit that we will be preserved from everything that can keep us from his grace.
Hi
Good day to you
