In our prayers,
in our songs,
we proclaim the glory of God,
we talk about it,
we want to see it, we want to touch it, we want to experience it…
At times, we experience situations that tire us and we want to move on to another dimension with God.
Like Moses, we don’t want to be accompanied by an angel, but by God himself,
we implore his presence.
We want him to go before us,
to walk before us.
Moses and his people had already seen God in action, they knew about miracles and wonders, they had exceptional testimonies, but for Moses that wasn’t enough,
he was still thirsty,
He was dissatisfied because he was aware that his God did things beyond what he had seen, imagined or thought.
The glory of God is a revelation,
it is a desire,
it is an anointing,
it is a power, it is an identity,
it is a vision,
it is adoration,
it’s a prayer…
We cannot see the glory of God if we live in fear and doubt,
we cannot open heaven if we refuse to let God reign.
In Acts 12, Peter was kept in prison, and the Church kept praying to God for him.
On the night before Herod was to bring him to trial, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains; and there were watchmen at the door, guarding the prison.
And behold, an angel of the Lord came, and a light shone in the prison. The angel woke Peter, struck him on the side, and said, “Get up quickly! The chains fell from his hands.
The angel said to him, “Put on your belt and your sandals. And he did so. The angel said to him, “Wrap your cloak around you, and follow me.
Peter went out and followed him, not knowing that what was being done by the angel was real, and imagining that he was seeing a vision.
When they had passed through the first guard, and then the second, they came to the iron gate leading into the city, which opened of its own accord before them; they went out and entered a street. Immediately the angel left Peter.
Beloved, it was prayer that brought about the supernatural,
it was because people got together to call on God that it came down.
The glory of God gives us victory over our enemies.
The glory of God is like a dream,
it’s so glorious, unbelievable.
The glory of God is deliverance.
Are we ready for this next step in our lives?
Fast and pray to see the glory of God this month and always.
John, 11:40 – Jesus said to him, “Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God?
This is God’s advice and even a warning to us who aspire to the glory of God.
Let us not be unbelievers, let us simply believe.
And the Almighty will manifest himself.
Good day to you all
Good day to you
