My Month Of Joy! Ps30:11

Timothy was a child born to a Christian mother and an unbelieving father.
At that time, the father had absolute authority over the family so Timothy’s situation was complicated.
When Paul left Lystra, he took Timothy with him.
This is how Paul and Timothy began a mentoring and learning relationship that eventually reached the whole world.
Timothy is ready for the kingdom but he is shy, Paul encourages him to be strong and bold.
Paul wants to develop the confidence in him to really lead and protect the sheep.
Timothy should no longer shy away from confrontation, he should take a stand when necessary.
Timothy is a son of Paul in the faith, he trained him, he taught him.
Paul is in prison and writes to the Philippians with whom he has a good connection.
Paul has another brother in the Lord, Epaphroditus who brought him a gift from the assembly in Philippi.
Epaphroditus is full of the love of Christ, he is a channel of the generosity of the saints.
He was Paul’s fellow soldier.
Paul gives spiritual value to Epaphroditus’ acts of love and to all those who make efforts to please their neighbours by doing good.
Paul asks the Philippians to receive Epaphroditus with gratitude.
His presence alone in their midst is precious and valuable.
Philippians, 2:29 – Receive him therefore in the Lord with all joy, and honour such men.
Show your joy upon the actions of those who love you.
We no longer find in our churches people who are willing to make sacrifices for their brothers.
But Paul, this morning, recommends that we greet with reverence those whose zeal and dedication are not primarily for their own interests but to please others.
Good morning to all
Good day to you
