My Month Of Victory! 1Co15:57

Using the phone at the wheel can cause an accident,
A mistake on the ward can cost you your job,
A distracted nurse can give the wrong dose of medicine,
Children watching television can lead to failure at school,
Many people are distracted,
Distraction is a bad thing and it’s everywhere, at every level.
Everything is set up so that our attention is scattered,
so that our thoughts are diverted from God.
This is also one of the reasons why, if we want to cling to the Lord, we must know how to cut ourselves off from everything that prevents us from looking to him.
Samson was a judge who had God’s anointing on his head.
At one point in his life, he became interested in a woman and began to make her his focus.
For Samson, Delilah was more important than his mission, yet she was a distraction in his life.
So when Samson was trapped and his vision was taken away, the spirit of God left him and he became more of a distraction to the Philistines than anything else.
He was their distraction at their feast.
What we’re trying to say here is that before Samson became a plaything for his enemies, he became a distraction himself.
He turned away from his Creator and no longer knew how to give thanks to the Lord.
Instead of going to recharge his batteries and allowing himself to be filled by the Lord, Samson ran to lie on his partner’s lap.
Distraction can lead us astray from our destiny,
Distraction darkens the path that the Father has laid out for us.
And that is the Lord’s advice to us today.
1 Peter, 5:8 – Be sober, be vigilant. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Pray to avoid distraction.
Be clear-headed,
Let us be calm,
Let us be vigilant,
Let us be serene,
Let us be intelligent,
Let us be careful,
Be cautious,
Let us conduct ourselves with wisdom,
Let us stand firm and keep to the path,
Let us not be swayed by those who talk too much,
Otherwise we will be swallowed up by those who wish us ill,
They work every day to keep us enslaved, to keep us in disgrace.
So if we want victory to be ours in this season, let’s keep our heads on our shoulders and look to the Lord.
Good morning to you all
Good day to you
