My Month Of Praises! He13:15

When Jesus had come to Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples: *Who do people say that I am, the Son of Man?
They replied: *Some say you are John the Baptist; others, Elijah; others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets.
And he said to them, “Who do you say that I am?
Simon Peter answered: *You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Jesus answered and said to him: *Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Then he told the disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.
It is all very well to read the Word, to associate with the Lord through the exercises of worship,
if the Holy Spirit does not open our hearts to the Revelation of God and his loving plan for us and for humanity, our knowledge of him will remain very limited.
One thing is certain: he was the quickest to respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit,
the one who showed the most courage to do so.
That’s why Jesus put him at the head of his nascent Church,
which shows us the vital importance of being docile to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.
Revelation is God’s communication to his children.
Sometimes we read the Bible and we don’t always understand its deeper meaning. The Holy Spirit reveals to us the hidden spiritual meaning that enables us to apply it today.
Abram was in a situation where he needed help and direction for his own life.
How many people today are in that situation?
There are times in life when our intelligence, our senses,
the information we have doesn’t allow us to see a solution or a future.
This is exactly when we need the Lord’s revelation.
Like a soft light, a sudden flash of light in our mind,
a flash of insight, a sharp emotion.
It clears away fog, doubt and brings peace, serenity to the heart.
Revelation is a superior, supernatural intelligence.
The kind of intelligence that we cannot have on our own,
nor by our university degrees, however prestigious they may be.
Daniel, 2:23 – God of my fathers, I glorify you and praise you because you have given me wisdom and strength, and have made known to me what we asked of you, and have revealed to us the secret of the king.
Praise the Lord for the revelations he gives you.
Daniel wasn’t there when the king had his dream, but the king claimed to have forgotten it and needed someone to tell him his dream and explain it to him.
Daniel and his friends took time before the Lord to seek his face and beg him for the Father to reveal the dream.
This was done.
The verse tells us of Daniel’s thanksgiving to the Lord.
He blesses the name of the Lord because it is he alone who makes such things possible.
So let us ask the Holy Spirit to open our hearts and enlighten our minds to give us the essential help we need to know God and his will better.
We also ask him to give us the strength to undertake the actions, to love with a more perfect love, that such knowledge implies.
Thank you for your faithfulness, Father.
The glory is yours.
Good day to you
Good day to you
