My Month Of Delivrance! Rom10:13

Let us repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand!
This is what we have to do at the end of the year, this is the commitment and responsibility we have to make to get to the next level.
Repentance is not a change of intellectual point of view,
it’s not regret or remorse, it’s abandoning confidence in ourselves and our efforts to place our trust in the work of God accomplished by Jesus Christ on the cross.
John the Baptist spoke of repentance as a radical separation from sin.
It means changing our way of thinking, our way of life.
So many of us have accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour in our churches but our lives are not transformed, we are superficial.
Our hearts are still attached to sin,
to evil thoughts. We confess Christ with our lips but there is no awareness of our filth.
Repentance is the renewal of the mind,
It brings about transformation.
It leads us to resemble Christ, to bear the fruits of the Spirit.
Beloved, regretting one’s sins is all very well, but it is not enough for God. Judas Iscariot regretted what he had done, but that was not enough to benefit from Christ’s salvation.
On the other hand, Peter, who had betrayed Jesus by denying him three times, regretted his act and took the decision henceforth to walk according to the word of his repentance, and this is what we call conversion.
It is conversion that sustains repentance.
Brother and sister, let us choose to repent and convert at the same time.
It is by doing so that Jesus dwells within us and helps us to walk in integrity,
His grace strengthens us and helps us to move forward in our decision.
Our real problem is that we like to be seen as people who have no weaknesses.
It’s easier for us to show our qualities rather than our weaknesses.
It gives us pleasure to sail through the fire of falsehood that denies evil, of hypocrisy that hides everything…
We are constantly justifying ourselves and compensating for our bad deeds with good deeds instead of abandoning them.
Proverbs, 28:13 – He who hides his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.
Pray for repentance and true conversion.
Confession alone is not enough.
The sinner must confess, let go of the sin and abandon it completely.
This is the only way to regain communion with the Lord and prosper.
So it’s not a good idea to cover up sin,
Let’s not let the enemy lie to us and steal our graces.
By letting sin dominate us, we are unable to impose ourselves, to influence, to multiply and to be blessed.
We are constantly deluded and frustrated because we are at the mercy of the devil.
But when we decide to trust the Lord, open our hearts to him, sincerely ask his forgiveness and return to him, we receive grace and deliverance.
