My Month Of Laughter! Es8:16

As we enter our new month, let’s feel privileged.
The heavens are on their feet to cheer us on,
The angels stand to congratulate us,
Even our enemies bow down to salute our endurance, our strength, our life.
Everything is set up to celebrate us,
everything is organised so that we are honoured.
The Lord wants to put us well,
he wants to put us out into the world.
He wants us to stop thinking about past events,
He advises us to stop thinking about the old.
Here he is doing something new, something about to happen.
Will we be able to recognise it?
Beloved, the Lord is making a way in the desert, rivers in the desert.
It was difficult yesterday, but today we have reason to rejoice.
Yesterday was complicated, but today we have reason to shout for joy,
It was stressful yesterday but it’s a bad memory now,
It was dark yesterday but it’s better now.
We’ve heard the mind-blowing testimonies of others, wondering if we too might one day share in the wonders of the Lord.
We have coveted the blessings of others, wondering if we will ever know such happiness.
We came to tell ourselves that our God is faithful and always does what the eye has not seen,
that which the ear has not heard, and even that which has not yet risen in the human heart.
Now it’s our turn,
Our cries have gone up to the Lord,
And he has come down for divine intervention.
We will not end this year in darkness, we will not end this season in bitterness,
we will not end these thirty-one days in uncertainty…
The God of the last minute has returned to the scene,
The God who changes all things is at work.
The God who wipes away man’s reproach and lifts up our greatness has come.
The God who comforts once again speaks.
The God of surprise,
The God who amazes those who have concluded about us is standing,
His finger has written,
His voice has spoken,
Nothing can change the miracle that is available to us.
Let us receive our long-awaited gifts,
Let’s receive our well-deserved awards,
Let’s receive our bouquets that no one can claim,
Let’s receive our unexpected bonuses.
Welcome to December 2024.
*Our month of Laughter.
Laughter = entertainment, cheerfulness, gaiety, jokes, fun, joy, laughter, distraction…
*It’s even our month of rest and relaxation.
Let’s just lay our burdens at the Lord’s feet,
Let us lay down all our burdens on the altar of the Lord.
Let us be relieved, let us be helped.
Let us feel loved, let us be touched and let us relax.
Esther, 8:16 – There was nothing for the Jews but happiness and joy, gladness and glory.
This is our season of victory,
This is our time to celebrate.
Everything that was a disgrace becomes a cause for joy,
All the accumulated frustrations become triumphs,
All disappointments, failures…are excuses to give glory to the Lord who does every good thing in its time.
Magnify the Lord who brings laughter into your life.
Job, 8:21 – He will fill your mouth with shouting, And your lips with songs of joy.
Laughter is not a smile,
it’s not a hint of joy,
nor is it a semblance of happiness.
It’s a burst,
it’s a sudden cheerfulness, it’s a poof,
it’s letting go, it’s letting loose,
laughing out loud…
No one can hold back this joy,
It’s the Lord himself who puts us in a position of surprise and dance,
And when our hearts are full of love and joy, everything in us is in great shape, and our hearts are so overflowing with joy that our praise is spontaneous and authentic…
This month, let’s face it, our cup runneth over…
Let’s just navigate in this atmosphere.
