Faithfulness is a character that God seeks in the lives of those who follow him.
The Bible tells us about several men who have been rewarded because of their integrity.
Moses was the deliverer of the people of Israel in Egypt, he was chosen and prepared for this mission.
Israel had already got used to Egypt and Moses was the one to bring it out of slavery.
A man, one man took it upon himself to implore God’s mercy for a people who understood nothing, a people who doubted everything, a people who despite the Lord’s promises wanted to return in their vomit.
At first, Moses was not ready but God gave him the necessary equipment for the future.
And the commitment that this man had made before the Lord gave him the strength to stand in the face of disappointments, betrayals, unbelief.
When God calls us, he also wants us to prove our love to him and that is what Moses did.
Making a commitment is not everything, you have to be faithful, follow the Lord’s instructions to the letter, you must not take shortcuts or compromise along the way.
Saul made a commitment but he did not respect the rules that had been given to him, he made the sacrifice himself instead of waiting for Samuel, the prophet.
God’s will is not negotiable.
A lot of times we miss our blessings because we are not patient, we come out of our breakthroughs because we rushed in and that is always evidence of disloyalty.
Let us be firm in our commitments.
Instability and immaturity also sometimes make us break our commitments.
Rehoboam was enthroned king of Israel, he was supposed to protect the interests of his people.
He had made a commitment to remain loyal to Israel, but unfortunately he instead listened to young people his age tell him to treat his people harshly instead of listening to the elders.
Giving one’s word and respecting it is a fruit of the spirit, it is the state of our heart.
When we respect our commitments, we are faithful, we are men of confidence.
A believer does not abandon his spiritual life in the face of trials, does not allow himself to be influenced by others,
Let us seek above all to serve God by imitating Jesus Christ rather than doing a service to impress people.
In Luke, 9:62 – Jesus answered him, Whoever puts his hand to the plow and looks back is not fit for the kingdom of God.
Fast and pray to be loyal in your commitments!
Jesus prefers to warn us.
To accomplish God’s will, we need courage.
He invites us to break with the past in order to have access to the new world he offers us.
Lord, take us out of the distraction, we are too scattered, we do not know how to focus and obey the principles you give us.
Teach us to be loyal men so that we can serve you better.
Hello here
Have a good day
