My Month Of Progress! Luke1:49

Your grace is sufficient for us Father.
We think that when we have arrived in our comfort zone, we have the assurance, we are superior, we have the security to the point of sometimes despising our neighbor, to the point of letting pride rule us.
Giving is good, but let’s not stop at the people we love and know, don’t stop at church, go further, visit leper hospitals, take an interest in orphanages, go to hospitals, offer our time to prisoners.
Yes, this morning, we are leaving our suitcases where we are not used to going, we want to tackle a subject that does not always please us, a sensitive subject that sometimes annoys us.
Let us know, the offering is at the church but we are approaching today, alms.
Almsgiving is offering money to the needy without waiting, without counterpart, it is giving to the poor.
How often do we contribute for the needs of the poor?
When is the time when we had compassion for the needy?
When did we dwell on the situation of a loved one?
Corneille practiced alms, he shared what he had with the poor.
Tabitha did good, she gave money to the poor, she took care of orphans and widows in her country.
To give alms is to provide material support, it is to clothe, it is to feed, it is to accommodate.
Giving alms is not only for Christians but it is also for people who are not of the same church as us.
Each time we show generosity, we lend to God who promises to give it back to us.
Our gesture becomes a debt that God personally repays.
So it’s not a waste, it’s a seed that will become a tree with a lot of fruit.
Let’s learn to open our hearts, our wallets too.
So much resistance to give.
Disciples of Jesus, we are invited to give alms as much as we are invited to love our neighbor.
Ephesians 4:15 – but that, professing the truth in love, we believe in all respects in him who is the Head, Christ.
Practice alms with love.
We must love and practice the truth, it is the result of a healthy church where everyone puts their gift to serve others.
We have to grow.
Our growth is spiritual, the Lord does not want us to be disturbed by every wind of doctrine.
He wants us to be mature, stable, strengthened in the faith.
Let’s learn to give,
Let’s learn to share,
Let’s learn to love.
Let’s make a gesture,
Let’s give a smile
Touch a heart
Let us bless and we will receive in return.
Hello, here
Good day
