Beloveds, with whom do we spend most of our days?
With whom do we feel good?
Who do we trust?
Who are our daily associates?
Who are the people on whom we are attached, people on whom we believe we are leaning on?
It is good to know on whom to count but it is important to let the spirit of God minister to us concerning them and also to ask the Lord to show us their invisible part.
We have befriended too many people who steal our graces, who hinder our calls, it’s time to scan everyone.
In any case, the Lord gives us this advice, be careful with whom we walk.
Society is full of hypocrites and aliens working to get us there.
Let’s not say that the one who understands us or that we are in tune with such,
Let’s stop dwelling on appearances to conclude our relationships.
This help, this smile, this generosity can lead us through adversity.
Jonathan understood this lesson well.
He was the son of a leader, an influential man, rich, general of the army of Israel and finally king of the people of Israel.
Jonathan was therefore a prince and he deserved the honors and privileges of a king’s son.
The Bible tells us that this young man did not dwell on his prestige, he sought to understand the history of his kingdom and he came out of his research with the truth about the royalty of his Father Saul.
Saul is angry with his servant David and wants to take his life.
David is a valiant warrior who is loved by the people and he is the son of a village shepherd.
In any case, Jonathan knows that after his father, he will not reign because the throne will return to the tribe of Judah.
And David is in this line, Jonathan prefers the company of the next King David, the enemy of his Father Saul.
It is Jonathan who defends his friend, who protects him from his father, and together they make an alliance to seal their friendship.
Elisha also knew how to choose his relationships, he knew how to sit down to draw from Elijah, he wanted to be impacted.
Elisha was the servant of his master Elijah, it was he who poured water when Elijah needed it.
Even when Elijah was to be taken away by the Lord and the other servants were talking about it, laughing at Elisha, asking him to leave, Elisha stayed with Elijah, he knew what he wanted, he wanted to connect to the anointing, grace, fire of his master, he wanted to be filled.
During Elijah’s departure, Elisha received the double portion of his Father’s anointing.
For Elisha, the company of Elijah is essential, he wanted an inheritance that only Elijah could give him.
In these cases, they knew how to attach themselves to the good root.
And us?
Will we be able to draw from the right source?
God wishes it for us in any case.
Choose your company wisely.
Proverbs 28:7 – He who observes the law is an intelligent son, but he who associates with sexual immoralities puts his father to shame.
Obeying the written word is the proof of intelligence in God’s appointed relationships.
Children must respect the established rules and submit to the discipline that the parents do.
It is in this way that we can detect the intelligence of children but when children lead a life of debauchery, when they are disobedient, foolish, they do not honor their parents.
Let’s choose well with whom we deal, pray that the Lord puts on our roads people who give us to enter our destinies.
hello to us
Have a good day
