My Month of Gratitude!Ep5:20

Money, position, material goods, possessions, power, abilities, spiritual gifts, talents, privileges … that is all that characterizes the greedy.
The world encourages us in this vision, incites us to it, persuades us that we need much more, much greater, much more better.
It’s no longer a secret.
Our TV, our music, our films, the internet convey this message.
We are made to believe that the more we have, the happier we are, everything is based on money, the satisfaction must be immediate.
As a result, we are materialites, always in search of success and personal success.
It is not only the fort of the unbelievers, even the Christians have settled well in this universe, we are obsessed by the comfort and the financial security of where the gospel of the prosperity.
Our selfish ambitions make us believe that God is at our service, he will respond to our least desires.
To constantly complain, to compare oneself with others, to denigrate the appearance, the work … of others, to pretend to be happy for others are the forms of greed.
Greed is an idolatrie, it’s a sin.
This is the subject of our exhortation this morning.
The book of Proverbs, 1:19 – so happens to every man eager for gain; Greed causes the loss of those who indulge in it.
Fast and pray to be free from greediness.
Assets are good but when they condition us, it’s a problem.
The Bible tells us to seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things will be ours.
We can not continue to live as if the material was everything, as if it is the assets that identify us, as if our value depended on it.
Solomon, with all his wealth, all his prestige has said vanity vanities, everything is vanity.
He understood that everything is terrible, everything is nil.
It had not advanced at all.
This morning, God tells us that all these things are good but know what we want, our goal on the earth is God, it is to worship, it is to love.
Let’s concentrate on the essential, and the essential is Jesus and not all that we exhaust ourselves to look for in our daily life.
Let us help us to wear real Christian values.
This sets the tone for our walk with God.
Hello to us
May God guide us
Have a good day
