My Month of Gratitude!Ep5:20

We meet in our lives all kinds of people.
Some, just at the sound of their voice, just watching them, we can notice them by their words, by their analyzes, by their attitudes.
And when they open their hearts, we can only confirm with sadness that they are locked up in prisons.
One of them is called bitterness.
We drag bitterness into our lives, we blame people who are sometimes dead, we tell old stories as if it happened yesterday, it’s fresh in our heads, we feed it for allĀ our lives, we carry a burden that destroys our lives, we poison our thoughts, our emotions, our relationships …
We want to tell ourselves this morning that life is a choice, we can decide to love or to hate, we can control our feelings, the lack of forgiveness is a sin.
This wound, this disappointment, this pain, this anger in our lives steals our joy, our peace.
Let us go to the word of God, it’s free.
There are resources they that can certainly help us.
Hebrews 12:15 – See that no man deprives himself of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness, sprouting off shoots, produces trouble, and that many are infected with it;
Pray to be free from all sorts of bitterness from you.
The bitterness, what is it?
It is sadness, anger, regret, resentment, disgust, pain, spite.
It’s killing Love, a poison.
Several things can lead us to this state.
Broken relationship, abuse, treason, injustice …
It extends its roots little by little and leads us into a destructive attitude.
Bitterness deprives us of the grace of God and saddens the Holy Spirit.
Do we think we have the right to be bitter and cause damage wherever we go?
The time has come to consider the word of God.
Many have suffered in the Bible like Joseph but he has not let his emotions decide, he fought and fulfilled his destiny.
Bitterness prevents us from being in the perfect plan of God, always
destroys the future of others, opens the door to other sins, sows the divison, leads us to always criticize and to pity ourselves.
Let us turn our eyes away from the offenses, let us just judge them.
Lord, we need your help, remove all root of bitterness in our hearts before it destroys us and our relationships.
Hello Beloved-ones
